Beautiful park with lots of mature trees, a formal pond with fountain and a wild pond. Lots of ducks and geese, sometimes an owl too. A cafe and ice cream place. Toilets. Also home to Christchurch park parkrun every Saturday morning at 9!

This is a lovely place to go, there is some lovely areas where you can see wildlife, some lovely places to walk and a very nice playground for the children we also found a smaller playground.

We went during winter and loved it. Great park with Museum and art exhibition. Little cafe for hot drinks and snacks, the playground area great for kids. A few historical monuments to look at and ideal for walking the dog or windy walks.

Really great play area set in the ground of a beautiful park.
This place is a credit to Ipswich.

Play area is great fun for smaller kids and a lovely park for everyone to enjoy.

Beautiful park, didn’t walk through it all, we sat under a massive tree and had a picnic. There was lots of little squirrels that seemed quite tame , so I assume they get fed by visitors. The only trouble we had was not being able to find restrooms but maybe we didn’t look hard enough!

We nice old new trees 🌳 picnic spots ducks wildlife experience history everything play rounders cricket with tennis ball 🎾 quite sitting area running track children playing area, only parking 🅿️ is one must ready to explore where to park. Nice cafe Cream Tea is recommended. Delicious 🤤

Lovely place to take the children for a day out . The maniaion is fill of history and worth a visit. New play aera for the kids. ponds with lots of ducks and squirrels in the woods. Both can be feed by hand .watch out squirrels some times nip. .there is a cafe and disabled toilets. With on site disabled parking .well worth a visit .
