This was my third time staying at Cholsey Farm, and my mum's first time. It just gets better every year! I really like how all the routes have been set up on the OS Maps app now - this makes following the routes off your phone so easy. The paddocks at the farm are really well maintained and the human facilities are good too! We stayed in the horse trailer so cannot comment on The Piggery, but the toilet and shower facilities were nice and clean.
My mum is quite a novice rider and Jackie and Ted were on hand every day to recommend the best rides for us. All the rides we completed were fantastic, with beautiful scenery and across a range of terrains. Both my Mum and I had a really fantastic weekend and will definitely be coming back again.

Jackie and Ted were amazing hosts. Information leading up to holiday was very efficient. We stayed in the Piggery which was lovely. The place is fab and the views were amazing. We did a planned route which was so much fun and we definately will be returning for many more horsey holidays in the future.

Had the absolute best holiday with our horses!
We stayed in the piggery for 2 nights, the shower had great pressure, and the kitchen had a working kettle, hob and fridge and microwave. The Internet was good enough to watch Netflix too.
The paddocks were well maintained with automatic troths.
The hacking - wow! Off site routes are just fabulous, and easy to navigate - they helped us find the best one for what we wanted and ensured we had the tracker on too so it was really simple to navigate. The onsite hack track took about an hour of nice set aside.
We will be back!

Ted and Jackie went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were on hand to give advice and had lots of info on hacking routes and nearby attractions. The fields were immaculate and safe and the camping field set in a beautiful location. I stayed in the piggery which was clean, well equipped, comfortable and close to my friends who were camping. I can’t recommend Cholsey farm highly enough, there was lovely hacking around the farm and surrounding areas and thoroughly recommend the hack to the Barn for lunch. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much Ted and Jackie it was perfect.

My horse and I had a 3 night stay at Cholsley and had an amazing time. The hosts were very welcoming and always on hand for any questions. I would certainly recommend having a guided ride with Jackie one of the highlights of our stay. The rides over the Chilterns were stunning as well as the scenery and we are definitely returning. The paddock in the photo was where my horse was just outside of The Piggery where I stayed. Stabling was great too. 5 stars all round.

We had a group of 10 horses and 13 adults stay last weekend at Cholsey. Jackie and Ted couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. They responded to question beforehand promptly, and went above and beyond to look after us when we were on site. We will be making this holiday an annual trip as everyone who came LOVED it. The farm is thoughtfully set up for visitors, the maps and information is all well written, we didn’t get lost once! And the location and hacking is out of this world. Thank you for a really special weekend!
