My van broke down last Thursday morning, I am also self employed. I called Cheshire Vehicle Rental and Helen and team went above and beyond to source/sort me another van out and had me back on the road within an hour. Which was a great relief, as I had customers booked in waiting for me to arrive.

We have hired a few vehicles from here without any major issues.
But come to today, and we’ve been given a van with a flat and perishing Tyre, we’ve seen it once we’ve returned to Congleton from Macclesfield.
Gone to shell petrol station to put air in the Tyre, and it’s completely split.
We can’t change the Tyre due to the wheeel nuts being over tightened for the equipment provided in the van.
After speaking to their receptionist, I’m expected to ring breakdown and pay for that and for them to fix the Tyre, then contest it with them.
There excuse is we looked round it this morning?
We do a damage check, we don’t health check your full vehicle, to send a vehicle out in this condition is dangerous, so you can collect it from where it’s parked.
