My mum and I stayed here as a treat for one night and had an amazing experience! All staff were very friendly, especially Jess and Whitney who completed our treatments- they were lovely and amazing at what they do!||The spa facilities were great but there were swimming lessons going on at the time we were in the pool, this was sectioned off though so we didn’t mind.||We had a burger for our dinner which was delicious but unfortunately the deserts were poor. My panna cotta was watery and covered in a gross strawberry sauce. The service was also very slow especially considering it was so quiet at this point in the night. The burger was so good though that the experience was still very enjoyable.||The room was lovely with a great hot shower and really comfy beds. My only small annoyance was that there were no plugs near the bed but oh well!||All in all we had an amazing stay and would love to come back- thank you!

We stayed here for two nights as part of a Travelzoo deal which included dinner + bottle of wine on the first night, breakfast both mornings, late check out, leisure access, and a family room - and we were so impressed!|Normally with a deal you're never sure quite what you'll end up with, but this hotel was great. The room was huge with loads of storage and counter space to put belongings on, plus a fridge which was a huge help with our 3-year-old. Dinner was nice (wine was cheap but to be expected), and breakfast had loads of choice although it was understaffed at peak times. Staff were friendly and helpful, there was plenty of parking, and we just generally had a really good vibe from the hotel. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely return if we're in the area again.

My daughter and I have had such a wonderful time. We had a fantastic treatment, my therapist was Whitney. She was professional and executed my treatment brilliantly. |We very much enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. |All the staff have been very polite and happy 😊. |I would throughly recommend staying here.

Went away for the night with friends at this hotel. Unfortunately the room we stayed in 117 was right next to a fire door. Fire doors normally close slowly but for some reason this one didn’t.
What this meant is every time someone went through that door there was a massive bang in our room.
Raised this the next morning and was advised they were aware of some of the mechanism on the fire doors and said sorry.

My apply watch recorded total sleep that night as 3 hours and 12 minutes. I would have got a better sleep in the car. One of the worst experiences I have ever had.

Other than that the hotel was nice and clean. No other issues so my advice if you check into this hotel and end up in 117. Save yourself the money and go home.

Amazing stay at this hotel. Room was lovely, pool was great. Staff were outstanding and breakfast was absolutely fantastic, everything you could want along with fresh warm pastries. Evening meal was nice too. I would absolutely recommend this gorgeous hotel.

A very comfortable hotel and easy to find.||We received a warm welcome and the room was well appointed. The bed was very comfortable.||The bar had a reasonable selection of drinks and the food in the restaurant was good. Breakfast was also good.||I did not try the pool or the spa, because we were on a golf trip.||The late check out option of 11:00 am was very helpful to us.

I booked this up for my mums birthday and I must say she had an amazing and relaxing time! Although there was some issues with one of the reception ladies (she had short black hair and glasses), she was very rude to my mum and blunt, we rang for room service and we waited for over 40 mins but we still didn’t get anywhere with it, then mum rang on her own mobile and the lady at the front desk answered but was very unhelpful, so mum had to go down to the front desk and ask if they got our call as we were trying for 40 mins or so, the lady at reception said she saw us ringing several times but chose not to pick up! That was a disgusting response and completely uncalled for, was so rude and unhelpful! she also said they were busy but there was only one person drinking by the bar and the restaurant was basically empty (had one table booked there)… eventually ordered our food and the other lady that came to our room was so lovely! I don’t know her name but she had long dark hair! She apologised and gave mum a birthday plate which was lovely and knocked off the £5 charge that we get for having room service! They forgot the cheese board but that’s okay! We sorted that! ||||The spa was absolutely beautiful! But I must say the place needs a spruce up as it’s very run down in some places, we spoke to some people that have memberships and even they said the same! But apart from that it was lovely! ||||Can’t fault the treatments we had!! The ladies were so lovely (Laura and Whitney) so friendly and chatty, also very down to earth but also very professional!! (Me and mum love a good chat lol) so we found that very relaxing and enjoyable! We both found that whole experience amazing!! And we feel so much lighter after those back massages oh my god! Definitely will come again for a spa day and also a night! Thank you!

Hotel looked good on the outside, but was clearly under par in certain areas, mainly Catering and Leisure facilities.|Good points - Very nice location and close to both Gloucester and Cheltenham and easy to locate using SatNav. |Friendly and very helpful staff, cleanliness of bedroom and facilities good.|Improvements: Breakfast and evening meals - over priced for the quality and quantity of what you get. Nice size bedroom and plenty of storage and room service.|Standard breakfast - 'Free for All' (very holiday camp) set up - Coffee machine broken, only a few staff clearing and making up tables. Breakfast very sub standard for the heavy price.|Overall look and feel - Needs to be modernised a lot as looks stuck with 70's decor (lots of Brown and dark brown (Teak look) which makes the hotel look very dark and needs to look a lot brighter as needs more natural light coming in.|Treatments - Tried to book well in advance, but none appointments available for hotel users as also open to public to use as well as a health club.|Swimming pool decent size, Jacuzzi was nice temp, but on timer which only worked for 5 mins every 15 minutes.|No or little information on the TV's as to what I had booked - Needs to be personalised information for guests.|Also when booking made reference to our Wedding Anniversary, but nothing mentioned at all by Guest / Reception services - The little points make a huge difference.
