We went on a cruise last Thursday for our son's birthday. We just can't thank enough Lynn and John for their fabulous company and sharing their knowledge of the area. Such a lovely couple!!! Excellent captain, the River chelmer is a nice quiet river , The 40ft narrow boat only carrys12 Passengers at a time so not crowded and you can stand with the captain for a better view . Well worth the trip ..!

No mention on their website saying that there id no parking available on a Monday and Tuesday.
Only roadside which is either very narrow or has double yellow lines.

Wasted my time going

Only positive thing is I hadn't pre booked a ticket, as not sure what would have happened then

Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing and picturesque 3 hour cruise for 12. The crew were excellent, very welcoming and professional and left you alone to enjoy the entire trip in private.

The boat itself was lovely - clean and comfy with plenty of space for us all, and it had both a toilet and a kitchen area.

The light lunch food package was good value too, fresh and tasty sandwiches and gorgeous desserts with enough options to please anyone. They even provided gluten free options for a couple of us.

Normally we'd have all gone out for a meal together but at less than half the cost per head and twice the overall enjoyment had this was a much better option. Perfect day, many thanks.

Just to say you have to pay five pounds to park but it does cover all day
