Spoke with a nice gentleman who was happy to speak with me and share local knowledge and tidbits. Even if you are not looking to buy anything, just pop in for a nice chat and local trivia. There's useful stuff in the shop as well which is not overpriced such as a rain protector in case you forget your raincoats in this highly wet Great British summer !

Cheddar gorge as a whole is a must. Personally, I wouldn't do the caves as there are better ones in the area. If you start at the other end you won't have to pay to get to the top. Beautiful place though and would recommend visiting.
