Always worth a climb around this rock.
But the pool always feels a lot colder than the sea.
Kids love it, it’s like a magnet to them, but that’s what being a kid is about.

Over the years, we have timed visits to Perranporth when the tide is out and we can set up our beach camp around Chapel Rock, with its fascinating rock pools and irresistible climbing challenge, to get to the flag pole. However the rock also has had a tidal pool created which is popular for children to use, rather than go in the sea. Free to use but expect to be popular during the height of summer. However access is also dependent upon the tides.

Lovely pool. Not too deep at the front. Great for a little swim or splash around. Kids Love it. You do need to climb up the rocks to get to it and it can be slippery

Easy location with beach front parking nearby. Best to plan and visit at low tide. Such a lovely swimming spot! Absolutely beautiful! If you want the pool to yourself I’d highly advise early mornings or mid week when there are less families around.

Lovely place! Great for kids and family. Large beach good for surfing, swimming or just sunbathing. Lifeguards on the beach.
Dunes to the North, working there way south too larger costal cliffs, really good for paragliding. The local flyers from the KHPA are a friendly bunch, if it's flyable mostly always someone there.

Great beach , don't surf myself but enjoyed watching those that do. Bonus of seeing my first Red Billed Chough up close on coastal path 😁
