I recently had my van converted and a pop top fitted, after having the van back a few weeks now I’m absolutely over the moon with the work, everything works as it should and is spot on. We can’t wait to get out and use it, thanks to Holly and the team for a top job, I’ll be returning for more work doing in the future.

Before you read this and think. But they have lots of great reviews. Bare in mind they offer £15 for a good review. Which is in breach of Google's rules.

Literally the biggest waste of £2500 I ever spent. And probably worse than that as it's rendered a very expensive van semi usable.

But cheap buy twice they say. Well they're cheap. And you don't just get a poorly made and installed pop top. You also get a free water feature and a barely usable roof space.

The workmanship on it is shocking. And it has the following issues that render it almost unusable.

Its leaking, as you can see from the pictures. Water is dripping through the fixings down one entire side. This water has dropped onto our new kitchen top causing staining. I ended up having to re-silicone the whole top as it had been done in a rush and badly.

The canvas at the rear is not connected to the roof all along the rear, meaning there is a draught.

The tie straps barely grip, and the pop top comes loose at the slightest hint of speed.

Due to where they have cut the access hatch there is only 155cm of usable bed space. If you put the hatch in, you cannot then have the ladder up. Meaning to use the roof is a choice between sealing yourself in and waking someone up to put the ladder back up, or having an extremely short bed. The roof could easily have been installed in a way to give a full-length bed.

But due to the way you have chosen to fit it I am left with compromises. That I didn’t need to have.

And when you do shut someone up there the condensation is insane due to the awful fabric used..

I previously had a T5 with a pop top from a reputable company and never experienced condensation issues like this.

Absolutely brilliant firm
Purched a van off C&H Campers approx 9 months ago and had a brand new bespoke conversion done to our requirements what suited us best as the van is a daily driver.
Got to choose everything from colour to finishes..armed with swatches we took them home to choose (that was the hardest part of the build).
Very professional build and workmanship, nothing was too much trouble for them.
The owners and all the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable (from office to shop floor) and a credit to the company.
Also fair pricing we have been back now a couple of times for upgrades like wheels etc and can't fault them.
Well done C&H Campers and C&H Pop tops Top job.

Recently had a pop top fitted to our Vivaro. Scott and the team did a fantastic job. The finish both inside and out was second to none. You could tell that they took great pride in their workmanship. The company as a whole were a pleasure to deal with and we would recommend them to anyone.

Rang for a pop top and was offered a reimo that they had in stock. Dropped the van off ( they advertised same day fitting) on Sunday and was told to collect on Friday. When I arrived to pick it up the van was nowhere to be seen, they were still fitting carpet and cutting bed boards out of 10mm ply. On inspection of the van one of the windows was scratched, pop top canvas fitted creased, gap underneath the canvas, carpet hanging off, rubber seal on wonky, wind deflector fitted crooked and no bed. I contacted c&h and they offered to rectify. This was a lengthy process due to lack of contact and fobbed off that people were away. The van was returned and the workmanship is still mediocre, since the vans returned I have washed it and found a massive chip out of one of the corners of the poptop and an attempt to cover this up with the trim. I’m absolutely gutted and can’t even bring myself to contact this company again to try and sort this out. My dream has been ruined.

We took our Custom up to C and H Campers/pop tops yesterday to have side and back windows and a pop top fitted. We decided to stay in a hotel locally to give the bonding a bit longer to go off as we travelled 4 hours from Norfolk. The guys were very friendly and gave us a lift to the hotel and back, enjoy the drink on Friday, John has the money. I had a pop top on a previous T5 and can honestly say this roof is of a better quality. The front deflector needed on the custom fits really neatly and is well attached with screws and sealant/adhesive. Everything seems well fitted and of good quality for well over a £1000.00 cheaper than I could find locally. Great bunch of local lads doing a great job and not ripping anyone off. all the best for the future and will hopefully see you next year with another project.

I contacted C&H Camper, conversion to see if they could fit a pop top to an already converted camper van. After a couple of emails and telephone calls my van was booked in. It's been fitted above a month now and wanted to wait until I'd used it before leaving any comments. Having used the van for 2 years without a pop top this is a game changer, should have done it earlier. Thanks to all at C&H, Jess in the office and I think it was Scott (apologies if I have your name wrong) who explained what work was going to be done then explained how to use and tie it down when I picked the van up. Highly recommend.

Very very happy with the work had carried out on our T6, we had a poptop, window insulated and carpeted.
All work done to a high standard and on time.
