The boot photo machine has been out of envelopes for months and out of ink for the last couple of weeks, despite the request from the Boots branch in Cardigan for envelopes and ink. I use the machine regularly and we have many tourists in the area 🙁

The fact that a design looks correct during creation doesn’t guarantee it will arrive that way. There seems to be no quality control, meaning you could receive something completely off and have no recourse for a refund. For example, it’s not clearly explained that you must set an image as a background, even if you have no foreground because for some strange reason it messes up the full design - I was said (doesn't make sense by anyway). As a result, I ended up with unusable postcards featuring a bizarre white margin on just one side of the image. I would strongly recommend using a different company.

Ordered two pictures from a picture via e-mail from a friend and ordered 5 x 7 inch prints and they came within a couple of days - item sent 48 hour tracked by Royal mail and fitted in through my letter box - so no safe place or collecting from the sorting office!! Happy with service and hope to use again - came within a week

I ordered a large photo book as a gift for my managers leaving event. My manager has worked within our NHS ward for 27 years so our team wanted everything to be perfect. I spent hours collating photos, poems and putting the book together. I ordered in time for it to be delivered for my managers last day (10 days in advance). However, it got lost somewhere between printing and quality check!!! I tracked it online, this didn’t work as the tracker was days out of date. I spent 2 days chasing it, phoning the company to eventually be told they had lost it. I was offered a 10% discount with a reprint; or full refund for no book. I feel I should be offered full refund AND reprint! I’m so disappointed by this, not acceptable at all. Would not recommend this company.

Whereas this company may be the best in terms of the end result it is complete pain from a User Interface perspective. I had to call their support twice which is very unusual but, to be fair, they did answer the phone and provide answers. The biggest issue is that you have register online to order your photobook after having downloaded and used the software (why not register at the start?) and the registration process is non-standard. None of the normal things like password managers work with their browser window. I will wait and see if the quality is as good as the reviews suggest.
