We have been visiting Cedar Cottage for the last 10 years almost annually. We have always been impressed by the generosity of the welcome pack of local goods, the standard of cleanliness and the range of equipment and facilities. The general comfort and location of the accommodation is excellent. We're keen walkers and appreciate the beauty and variety of the coast and countryside. The proximity of Bridport and Lyme make excellent 'rest day' venues. Cedar Cottage is somewhere we will always return to.

We visited the same cottages but not the same cottage in 2017 and decided to go back as they are in a great location with a lovely walk to the pub at Seatown. This cottage was much nicer than our last one, nicely decorated, very comfortable, and well equipped with good communication with the owner. We didn’t find our bed that comfy though as we like a softer mattress (everyone is different so it’s hard to please all) so if you are like us and don’t like a firm mattress take a good topper! but all in all I recommend this cottage and I also recommend waking at 4am and opening the curtains… the sky full of stars is amazing!!

Have visited Cedar Cottage 3 times, always clean, tidy and welcoming. The location is perfect and the views are amazing. So much to see and do in the area and you can walk to the beach and also the village. Very good communication with the owners. Would thoroughly recommend.

We have stayed in this comfortable, well equipped cottage several times before and love the relaxing location. The views from the back garden are beautiful and there are very nice walks across Colmer Hill to the Symondsbury Estate, or it’s 20 minutes along a peaceful track to the sea where you can enjoy food and drink at The Anchor (although the food is quite pricey because of the location). We’re near enough to enjoy lively Bridport too.
