Great day out at blue John mines, exploring 70m down, take a light jacket it's 8 Deg C all year round,
Then went to castleton to check out the shops and then had a meal in the Bulls head, lovely pub bit pricey but the meals were nice, recommend the chicken burger with cheese it's massive

It is a perfect starting and finishing point for a day's hiking in The Peak District. Toilets, refreshments, with some great gifts to take home.

Castleton was very busy , Vsitors Centre, was interesting it had a small museum , a great shop and a nice cafe
Lovely surroundings . Very pleasant place to stop a large car park . Had a great time .

Lovely little gift shop which also has museum pieces in there from the area. Also an exhibition from William Hickie Photography from the area, some Lovely framed photos and 2025 calender.
The cafe is good too. The car park is free to blue badge holders otherwise pay. Toilet facilities also there inside and out.

Nice little spot next to the car park. A few scenic walks nearby too so can spend some time here. Souvenir shop inside has some cool stuff and a few exhibits too showcasing the surrounding area. Nice little bit of history to see while visiting.

A great little visitor centre, with friendly staff, plenty of information on walks in the area, there is a car park but the visitor centre doesn't own it, and is pay and display, it has a café and toilets, there is even a small museum which was very interesting, worth a visit if you're in the area.
