My first visit to a racecourse.
I was doing a bucket collection on behalf of the lions club and we had a very good day.
The atmosphere was great and there are plenty of eating places etc.

Really nice course, and they have a very nice, clean first-aid room. Oh, and the ice cream from the vans is top-notch—real ice cream; highly recommend! Lots of different places around the course so you can see the racing. I like the fact that everyone can have a great vantage point.

What a great racecourse. Good facilities for the owners & trainers. Meal was lovely and service was very good. The grounds were looking good and there is ample viewing for each race round the parade ring. Viewing from the stand (with the help of binoculars) is good too. If you don’t have binoculars there is a diamond screen across from the stand where you can watch all the action!! All in all a great day out!!

Loved my day here ...plenty of bars etc but you could take your own food if you wanted. I took my 12 year old granddaughter and she loved seeing the horses in the parade ring. We will be back.

My experience here would be for a lifetime - such an awesome time!!!
Accessibility: Efficiently accessible for wheelchair and assisted.
Family friendly: I bet it over and over this is a great place for the family and top notch for the children.
Racecourse: Be here to enjoy the famous Carlisle Races with loud cheers, drinks, meal and make new friends.

Very cold day but good racing. Taxi from railway station is about £8 . Decent food and good beer
