Amazing holiday with our children 9 & 6 searching for Santa. Our artic star Maisie ran our trip like clockwork and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Both of our children have ASD and from the second we stepped foot on the coach Maisie was so helpful, informative and kind. This holiday may cost more than other competitors but the experience was so authentic and we are so glad we spent the extra money as you really do get what you pay for!

We cannot convey how amazing our trip to Lapland was with Canterbury Travel was in December 2023 on the Magical Interlude Package. After exploring other travel providers, from the moment we spoke to their booking team to arriving back in Gatewick, the experience was positive, quality and well organised.
The whole experience was grounded on the story to find Santa Claus with the help of the elves. The story began from our child receiving a package from Lapland with a bag and personalised invitation from Santa.
The holiday was a busy and active one, making the most of enjoying the country, its culture, education around their history, living in harmony with the land and the magic of Christmas. We enjoyed activities including snow mobiling, tobogganing, husky sledging and reindeer rides. The staff and elves played with the children sledging and having snow ball fights so adults could enjoy the activities too. Everything was taken care of from the winter clothing and equipment, accommodation and food, you just turn up! At the activity points there are fire pits and warm juice to keep you warm. You do have time to experience and enjoy the snow.
We stayed in Lusto and felt it was away from the commercial side of the country in Rovaniemi, but did swing by on our way back to the airport for a look around and last minute gifts.
The experience and memories we made were priceless and we will be going again with Canterbury Travel. We cannot advocate how amazing the staff they had were and experience they gave us, including the local coach driver who was fantastic.

We went on the Magical Interlude trip to Luosto and our daughter truly found the search for Santa to be magical. Everything was planned meticulously and the whole experience was stress free and enjoyable, there was nothing more we could have wished for.

Our daughter loved the activities, the tour guide Molly and all the elves were brilliant and clearly enjoyed being in character. The location is away from commercialised areas so the activities were always just our coach, it almost felt like we were the only ones in the whole region.

Hotel was comfortable and clean, we liked walking around it and tobogganing outside the front of it, our daughter can sometimes be a fussy eater but enjoyed the food as there was plenty of selection. We loved it and would recommend to anyone, we chose Canterbury Travel as our neighbours recommended them and we are glad we did.

Just finished a holiday in Lapland with wife and granddaughter (7). We all loved it. The hosts (Wendy and Callum) were fantastic. The Elves joined us on the coach from time to time and made every journey such fun. The events were all extremely well organised and such fun. Wear good gloves, hats and thick socks and you’ll hardly feel the -17DegC. All in all a wonderful experience that we would wholeheartedly recommend. Love to the Elves and Canterbury Travel.

We are sadly on our way home from a 4 day Magical (and I mean magical) Interlude at Sunday Morning Resort with Canterbury Travel. Everything was run incredibly smoothly, they looked after us at every point and there was never a moment when we didn't feel that everything was in hand. At the end, there was a delay at the airport and rather than just telling us to deal with it, they thought it through, holding us in the warm coach with access to a loo and convenience store until the blockage was cleared.
The hotel and resort is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful and luxurious. We were in the duplex cabins, authentic and a 5* standard.
The experiences were fab, no element of a Lapland bucket list was left untouched and the elves entertained our kids every step of the way.
Cantabury Travel designed, delivered and orchestrated everything, such that it felt that only our little coach was hunting for Santa and you only learn on the last night at the party that there were 8 coaches doing the same thing. Tay was our Arctic Star and he is brilliant - his enthusiasm is infectious, got our whole coach's head wobbling, and he entertained us throughout. Lexi was our hotel Star and she was super, swapping kit for us when needed and providing advice to the adults and colouring for the kids.

To be clear, I am not one for a "package holiday", and this felt incredibly special, worth absolutely every penny.

Lapland day trip was absolutely fantastic. From the chocolate offered while queuing to check in to arriving back home everything was so well planned, great fun, great service and Lapland was just amazing. The flights, crew ( the Flying Finns pilots!) but the resort and scenery were breathtaking not commercialised or crowded and little or no queuing. Thoroughly recommend this memory making day trip thank you everyone Jet 2 and Canterbury Travel. ❤️

It’s absolutely irresponsible—and frankly selfish—to fly to Lapland for a single day just to take selfies and feel important. The irony is staggering: people celebrate the reindeer, huskies, and snow while actively contributing to their disappearance with such reckless behavior. Climate change is accelerating precisely because of this kind of mindless consumption. I’m deeply disappointed that such trips are even offered, and even more so that people actually take them.

Just returned from a one day Lapland trip. We went to Enontekio and we had the most amazing day. Hands down the most magical Christmas trip we have done to date. You have made myself, my wife’s and my 3 children’s Christmas. The organisation was spot on and everything about the day was 5 stars. Money well spent on amazing day with my family.

The Jet2 staff were also amazing they put in so much effort to make it enjoyable for everyone.
