Campbell's Estate Agents - Battle

While Campbells were trying to sell my property I was contacted twice asking for my identification. I told them that my identification was photographed three months ago when they took pictures for the listing.
I asked them to check that they still have this important personal confidential information

But it took them three weeks to come back and tell me. During this time it was very stressful not knowing whether my identification had been lost. This is very important as someone with this information can cause me severe problems. I think three weeks is excessive to check if this information is still in place. Also, they took the picture of my identification, so why was it not readily available or marked on their system that I had supplied it? As the data controller of my information, they must know if they have my identification paperwork or not

A buyer liked my property and Campbells asked me for a second viewing; I asked them if the buyers would make an offer as well. That was over a week ago and I’ve heard nothing at all - whilst I’ve been in limbo wondering if my house is going to be sold. My house is clearly not going to be sold to this buyer and the buyer is not coming for a 2nd viewing - but it would be lovely to be informed, wouldn’t it?

Buying a house can be a stressful experience, there can be highs and lows. Having a good agent on your side can smooth out those lows and Jackie was amazing.
