I highly recommend this super helpful place to discover Cambridge. They will give you all the information you need to have a good stay and discover very amazing and sometimes, hidden places. I recommend the guided tours, very interesting and for sure worthy.

The Cambridge Tourist Information Centre is well worth a visit when coming to Cambridge. There you will find super helpful staff who know all about the City and the places to visit. Taj will be more than happy to help you plan your visit and should you wish include you on one of the fascinating "Walking Tours" of Cambridge. He can also help you choose one or two of the great souvenir gifts and games about Cambridge they have on sale in their well stocked gift shop.

Taj at the Visitor Centre knows Cambridge, loves Cambridge and wants everyone who visits Cambridge to be happy, and he tries to help everyone who comes to the Visitor Centre for help.Taj speaks 8 languages and people from all over the world can get the most professional advice and travel information from him. If you buy sightseeing bus tickets, punting p tickets here, he will kindly give the biggest discount to students, families with children. The visitor centre often receives lost passports, mobile phones etc. and Taj always tries to contact the owner, which is invaluable.

Unfortunately the advice provided for walking and punting was for tours they offered and not a balanced guidance for what is available. We have found other Tourist Information Centres across the UK provide advice is independent. Thankfully, Tripadvisor enabled us to have a great day. Cambridge is certainly a great place to visit.

I have experienced a very dismissive attitude. The two couples before me were given plenty of advice and had very warm welcome and when I had my question I received a very cold and dismissive answer as if this would be a huge bother. This was such a striking difference from the person from the staff and I am completely put off. Maybe you have to buy some tour to receive a proper treatment.
