We really enjoyed punting. On booking, we asked if we could sit at the front and the boat people said to arrive 10 mins early to ensure the front seats. We did so and the guys made sure we got our seats even turning down the seats to people who arrived later who jumped the que. The guide was very informative and funny and we had an enjoyable experience

We had a fantastic 45 minute punt down the river with Harry. He was an excellent guide, knowledgeable about the colleges and bridges that we passed. He has a great sense of humour and really made our trip enjoyable.
Cambridge Punt Company gave us a good price compared to some of the other companies.
I can recommend a punt ride on the river as a great way to see some of the city.

Jack was a skilled punter and entertaining tour guide, earning A+ for effort in foreign language skills to communicate with tourists. He offered us great insights about the local architecture and had a great sense of humour. Most people my age (20) would probably look at punting as boring but for me and my girlfriend it was the complete opposite. It was very relaxing and the tour guide, Chris, made it very interesting and taught us a lot about Cambridge. Isaac newton invented the cat flap!!

One of those cliché experiences absolutely worth having. I don’t know why but had low expectations for yet another touristic trap, but all we had was an incredible time. Our punter Joe was remarkably informative and friendly - very class and professional too when compared to some of the other rival companies passing by us. Do choose a sunny day to make the most of your time and you won’t regret it. Worth every penny!
