Nice modern terminal building with shuttle from the car park entrance for those who need it as it is a 10 minute walk. There were some ticket desks with friendly staff, decently comfy new seating, a vending machine and AC - although it wasn't needed or turned on when I was there.

They keep changing where they are leaving from. (Which is a pain and will hopefully soon be sorted out).

The shuttle bus stop at Troon doesn't "obviously" show a timetable.

We walked from station to Port - a bit of a hike with cases.

Staff on boat very helpful.

I know Calmac get a lot of stick but we've had some great crossings and this one was no different. We arrived early and they put us on an earlier crossing and so we were very happy

Been travelling Cal Mac for years to Bute so my first experience Troon to Brodick was a big letdown . The old ferry was dismal not even a decent vending machine for a soft drink on board. We booked tickets using the app and was told we only had 1 car and 1 passenger. The app was very slow to load and the guy lost patience and told us to buy another ticket. After being moved along very quickly the ticket was in fact in the app after all so went back to show him and was told they don’t refund. I suggested he change it for a return ticket and in the end he reluctantly refunded me. Very poor first impression for tourists if your staff are impatient and rude. The QR codes are slow to load and the app takes a bit of getting used to. A little more manners could have been shown by staff as for what we paid it was a very average crossing and poor customer service. Maybe he was having a bad day but no need to rush us and be rude!

Very happy with my ferry crossing experience. The water was choppy on the way but only God could have helped with that. On the way back traveled on the newer ship which was very impressive and well equipped. Smooth sailing

I really was not impressed at all. It was a nice crossing due to very cam waters, but the new ferry did not impress me at all . The staff did not have a clue about disembarking at Brodick. we were told by someone to go down to the car deck and then told to go back up ,they had no idea about car parking and three people all gave different advice . I had to pay it twice due to the advice from them ,
