Had an excellent holiday, the boat was great and clean and had everything needed and the teaching of how to drive the boat and how to do the locks was good and thorough. The staff were wonderful and added a bit of extra fun to the holiday and were very accompanying for anything we needed and made it very simple to hand the boat back over at the end of the holiday. We came with a dog as well and it was great for her as well. There were 9 of us in total and we all fit in the boat and the beds are alright. Would recommend to anyone that wants to go on a canal holiday.

Spent a lovely 4 days cruising on Mint 2, returning 12/9/23. Party of 3 people and a dog.

The boat was clean and tidy and, once we were used to it, easy to drive.

The staff at Calcutt Boats were super friendly and gave us a thorough induction on how to use the boat, including helping us to plan our route and advice on where to moor up etc.

Would definitely recommend. Top company!!

Really friendly and welcoming staff. It's easy to get loaded onto to the boat and get on with the locks. Good secure parking. Great boat, decent condition and everything worked perfectly. It's a great location for scenery, nature at its finest and lovely clear skies. A great location for a boating holiday.

I love a day out trip, they explained how to use the boat, lucky for me a perfect weather and great company (friends). You can bring foods/drinks. We did not hire to sleep. Very easy to ride.

Can't recommend Calcutt Boats highly enough. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. ..they even offered to change the punctured wheel on our car while we were on the boat. The boat was great and it's a perfect starting point to discover the many canal networks in the area. We went to Stoke Bruerne and back over 4 days which offered two of the UK's longest tunnels, great pubs and not too many locks.
