We stayed in The Stables, which is a lovely self-catering cottage, a mile or so outside Rye. Communication with the owner, Jane, was excellent. The cottage was spotlessly clean and contained everything you would need. It was very quiet and had safe parking. Rye is a super little town with some great restaurants.

We've just spent a wonderful week staying in Stable Cottage. It was beautifully clean and the cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The cottage is spacious and has a wonderful secluded garden. We would definitely stay in Stable Cottage again as it is very well situated for visiting Rye, Hastings and Bodiam Castle to name a few, not to mention the wonderful beaches as Winchelsea and Camber Sands. Thank you Jane for making out stay memorable. We all enjoyed ourselves very much.

We stayed in The Dairy and other family members stayed in Brandy's Cottage. We were all blown away by the comfort, cleanliness and facilities. It was so nice to have the gas BBQs available and enough crockery and cutlery to all eat together. The kitchens had everything we needed to prepare and cook with gas hob and oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and good sized fridge and freezer - we even did a bit of baking! The sunny lounge is comfortable with TV, hifi, books and local guides. The bed is huge (as is the bedroom itself and bathroom) and it was so useful having the washer/dryer and airing rack. The cottages are in a very quiet location, it has been so relaxing. We walked in to Rye and also drove to many local attractions. Jane and Trevor were very welcoming and helpful. The cottages are clean, well equipped and feel like home from home, we didn't want to leave.

My sister & I were visiting Rye from Australia and spent 10 nights at The Stables just before Christmas 2017. Jane was a fantastic host & made us feel extremely welcome. The cottage is very well equipped with everything that we needed such as a great shower, washing machine, central heating, a great little kitchen, car parking & wi-fi.
It is only a short distance from the centre of Rye by car or on foot.
We will definitely be back to stay next time we are visiting our family in the area - hopefully in the warmer months next time!
