A very good experience and a great holiday. The van that we hired was almost brand new, I think we were the second hirer. It was clean, and everything worked. Handover was detailed and friendly. No issues on our week away, and the return process was easy, a good look round the van to confirm no damage, and we were on our way. I would certainly hire from here again.

Van great. Problems started when pick up time was delayed an hour which threw our plans out, then there were problems with the fridge which caused further delay. Biggest issue was when we finally set off and got to our overnight stop. We discovered all of the kitchenware was missing. We had no means to make hot drinks or food, no dinner, no breakfast and had to further impact our schedule to source and buy a pan, cups, plates and cutlery. Company were skeptical at first and took a few emails to even get an apology. Afterwards they sent an offer of reimbursement which we were not happy with. They now ignore our emails and we are still waiting for them to refund our security deposit.

Booked a specific campervan for our Wild Atlantic Way trip. On pick we were given a larger motorhome. Told campervans in repair shop. No prior communication so we had not choice but to take what we were given. Quick tour of the motorhome given and we discovered no cutlery, crockery or cooking pans. They took some from storage. On our first night we discovered other items on their inventory list on their Web site were not there either. Clearly no inventory check before giving to us. Problems encountered with use of some equipment resolved by text. Except the oven, it only worked once despite repeated attempts. Very clean inside so clear not used before. We did not let our poor customer experience affect our holiday but did had to modify some routes and park ups to take account of the motorhome size. Have hired campervans before and this was the most unprofessional company.

We rented campers from Bunk Campers for Easter break and had a fantastic experience with them. We were lucky enough to be the first to use brand new campers in pristine condition. The team were very helpful, friendly and accommodating with all our questions and did a thorough handover education for us. Only thing I would say is that they should definitely include chocks as part of the basic offering! You need them to balance your campervan on unstable ground and it doesn’t make any sense to have to buy them when you’re renting a campervan.

If you from Belfast do not use this company. Phone and book a motorhome for myself my partner and 3kids. Callum on the phone told me to pay when arrive. Arrived to pay and the guy said sorry there’s no booking also I can only offer you a 4 Berth and 4seat belts. How can I travel to Dublin with 3 kids myself and my partner with 4 seatbelt. Sorry that’s breaking the law travelling 5 people with 4 seltbelts. My kids are going be very disappointed unprofessional company

Deceptive and misleading business - Don’t be fooled, this business is not legitimate and they are scammers.

I am urging you DO NOT BOOK. Their website says they have automatic transmission vehicles that they can allocate based on availability. When I booked, I emailed them immediately to ask if my booking could be allocated an automatic transmission vehicle. My booking is in 5+ months so this shouldn’t be difficult to find availability on.

I have since been told they don’t have any vehicles in Ireland/Northern Ireland. At all. My booking is for a vehicle pick-up in Northern Ireland. Not only is their website misleading, it’s completely deceptive.

As communicated with the so called “Guest Experience Team”, Elizabeth Dickson, this business is breaking the law and will not get away with it.

No customer service here because it’s become clear, they’re just straight out fraudulent. I have reported them to consumer protection and hope to get my stolen money back. Don’t risk it yourselves! Take this as your warning and clear sign, this business is a SCAM.

Fabulous experience. As first-time campers with Bunk, we embraced the handy app' in advance of our holiday. The comfort and flexibility of the motorhome enabled us to go and stop where we wanted. The concept of an electrical 'hook-up' at each site just makes the holiday so enjoyable. It's a wee home from home. The 3 power (leisure battery, gas and mains electricity) sources are so clever and easy to manage. We will definitely, definitely book with Bunk again, we've be BUNKERS not to.

Had a great holiday with these folks - we got one of their relocation deals, so we picked up the van at Heathrow and brought it back to Belfast. The van itself was virtually brand new, well-equipped and easy to drive - the only minor niggle was a loud rattle from the bed area above the cabin.

The staff in the London office did a great job of showing us how everything worked, and didn't try to rip us off with additional charges (besides coverage that it made sense for us to take). The toilet chemicals you can buy from them are a little expensive though - probably best to bring your own, or buy them at campsites.

A thoroughly enjoyable holiday, and we would happily rent from them again. However, do read the terms and conditions and know what you're getting into before you book!
