We booked the boat ‘Emily’ to take us from our wedding down to the Pump House where we had our reception.
Morris was our skipper, he was lovely! The ferry arrived promptly and Morris and his crew member helped our guests onto the boat carefully. We took a gentle trip along the harbour, with Morris checking in with us regularly and telling our guests about the area.
We were safely delivered to our destination in perfect time. All the guests loved the experience, it was perfect, thank you!

A day out in Bristol on a warm sunny day is not complete without a trip on the ferry to get you around, we boarded at Castle Circus for a leisurely ride to the SS Great Britain.
The route follows the canal along the basin past disused cranes, house and freight boats, many cafes and bars along its route and is priced by the time you spend on the boat.
The crew were very knowledgeable and friendly and announced the stops on the way well in advance.
Don't forget to hail your ferry from wherever you board so they stop and pick you up!

Having never been on one of the longer trips using the Bristol Ferry company we weren't really sure what to expect.
We'd used the shuttle riverboat from Temple Meads to the Centre on numerous occasions so had a rough idea of what we'd experience.
Our boat arrived promptly at 3pm as advertised and we were all boarded pretty quickly and ready to set sail.
We were given a thorough safety demonstration before we set off.
The crew were both very friendly and informative and no sooner had we set sail that the bar was open on board.
There was a large selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available and all very well priced as well.
The journey to Beeses was just under an hour but in truth the journey flew by, it was really interesting to see Bristol from a different angle.

Our return journey set off exactly on time and the staff ensured everyone was well catered for on the return journey.

All in all it was an amazing day out, this is suitable for couples, families of all ages and groups, on our trip everyone was made to feel welcome and like a really valued customer

Had a fantastic afternoon with the Bristol Ferry crew on a trip to Beeses, boat was clean and tidy, the bar well stocked and a reasonable price and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We even had a table reserved when we arrived. The food and entertainment was great at Beeses as always. Will definitely return another day. 5*

We were generously offered a free hour trip around the Floating Harbour for a group of up to 35 refugees and asylum seekers. They had a great time, not least as its not something they would normally do. The views of Bristol from the water and reminders of our history are always worthwhile . Thank you.

Just had a fab morning aboard the Bristol Ferry Company's History Tour! It was well worth the money for 90 minutes on the water, seeing Bristol from a different angle. We were made most welcome by Mike the Skipper, and Chris who provided the commentary. Chris really knew his stuff and we learnt lots. The trip took us from near the Mud Dock to beyond Templemeads, and all the way to the Cumberland Basin, passing sights such as the SS Great Britain and Matthew, along the way. A great thing to do on your next visit to Bristol whether you're local or visiting. Highly recommended. Thanks Chris and Mike! Jo, Brendan and Hebe from Bath x
