Was gifted vouchers for the afternoon tea cruise and finally got round to going today. Such a wonderful experience! The boat itself is very spacious and clean. Nice table set up and good service. Food was yummy - the scones were some of the best I've ever had! So fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend booking in advance as they tend to be booked up 6ish weeks ahead.

We booked for Father's Day. The whole experience was excellent, from the simple online booking, getting on the boat, and the service on board. We had the 3 course Sunday lunch. Each course was excellent quality. The service was friendly and attentive. We were blessed with rare sunny manchester weather too. We've already recommended Bridgewater Cruises to several people.

Our first time cruising with Bridgewater cruises this was a delayed Xmas treat for my son and daughter in law. Sunday roast 3 course was 1st class well presented,and very tasty . Lovely afternoon, 2 hour cruise & afternoon tea for two which was amazing ,the soup was the best I'd ever tasted!
Staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend.

My daughter doesn't do many reviews but she had to do one for Bridgewater Cruises as she enjoyed it so much!
We had 10 in our group from 4 generations of our family and we all had a brilliant time. Gary the skipper was a great, and he let the grandkids steer the boat which was well equipped with all the mod cons - kettle, oven, Bluetooth speaker, power sockets, toilet and even a shower!
Totally recommended.

Booked the Lady Harriet for a 3 hour cruise. Me and my family had a fantastic time despite the rainy weather. The boat was well equipped and homely and Gary was a fantastic skipper who made our journey extra special! 100% would recommend and book again!

We booked Bridgewater Cruises for a 3 course formal meal for our wedding celebration on the 07.09.2024 and couldn't have been happier with them - they were a pleasure to liaise with in the months and weeks up to the wedding, answering all our queries and providing information. On the day itself the Francis Egerton boat looked fabulous inside and out - the decoration, flowers and chair sashes all looked fantastic. All the team were brilliant, service was excellent and the food was delicious - had lots of compliments from our guests about how good the quality of the meal was and how good the staff were. Everyone had an amazing time. We can't thank them enough for making our day so special. What a fantastic company!

A lovely gentle cruise down the Bridgewater canal which included an afternoon tea, with a taster of a delicious soup followed by sandwiches, scones and an assortments of cakes.
Alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks were available also at reasonable prices.
There was a short commentary during the cruise giving a short history of the canal's construction and later pointing to the coal pit for which the canal was constructed.
Altogether a pleasant two hours passed all too quickly.
