This is a really nice place to go if you are in the local area. It's an old Iron Age sites which is a great historical interest.

It can get a little breezy up here. It's great for a walk around and if the sun is shining or it's not too windy then you can have long walks and also meet people who are still camping in the local area.

Excellent hill Fort. Great parking, great views and perfect for families and dogs. Dogs are to be kept on a lead as lots of other dogs, and grazing animals. 15 century white horse but lacking in artistic form and its been rendered with white cement. Great villages near by and lovely church at Edington.

Fantastic place for exploration and a picnic - even on a windy day, the Iron Age bods thoughtfully dug trenches where it was sheltered, warm and sunny. The horse is beautiful, recently restored very well. Lots of free parking. Thank you to all concerned.

Really nice place for a walk, fantastic views. The low level cloud can roll in on you, lots of space to wander around. The old chalk quarry there is fenced off and you really can't see much of it. Good size car park, narrow roads in and out with passing points.

Always only seen this iconic feature from afar until now. Amazing to be up and close to it. Wonderful views from the top of the surrounding area, you can see for miles. Free parking at the top and a short walk from there to the White Horse. The walk from the car park to the White Horse is not suitable for those with walking difficulties or in an ordinary wheelchair.

This is such a brilliant location. From Westbury it's best to drive up to the White Horse and park. It's a fun place to fly a kite, see hand gliders taking off and soaring around, take the dog for a walk or follow one of the many paths and tracks. The chalkland heath offers great fun for families, running up and down the chalk slopes and picnicking, or playing a game of ball. The White Horse is impressive up close. Views from there take you across miles of countryside. Historically and geologically important, it's a real landmark in the area. Definitely worth a visit. Once you've been, you'll want to come again.
