Stayed here for my DofE trial expedition and will be for the actual Expedition but it was a really nice and green area. Clean working toilets and showers. Good area to explore. And mostly ok campers apart from the noisy ones but apart from that amazing stay.

Myself, 2 Leaders and 12 Scouts Travelled to Leeds for a camp. We stayed here and couldn’t have asked for anything more from a site.
We stayed in the lodge. 12 Bunks in the main Hall. 3 separate bedrooms each with bunks and an additional “Leader Lounge” with some comfortable chairs to debrief each night.

The kitchen was spacious with a large fridge freezer. All utensils we needed and storage space.

There is an additional area you can ask for that is a Grill area with a BBQ and plenty of seating. I would love for our local site in Hertfordshire to have a area like this.

There is a single toilet in the building for night use.

Toilet blocks are perfect for our scouts with cubicles and a separate shower area . There’s also separate Shower block for leaders.

The actual site was massive with 3 separate large fields for wide games and a very good campfire Circle.

CCTV on site that covers the car park

We used the bus Stop just down the road 5/10min walk and caught the A Flyers to the Airport and by the time you arrive there is separate A Flyer Bus that goes into Leeds City Centre.

In all honesty the buses were the only part of the whole trip we had an issue with to any group should keep an eye on the trackers.

We will 1000% be returning to this site on our rotation.

Good scout site with various sized buildings to suit most units. Ground can be very boggy in wet seasons.
