We went on a Bournemouth History with Penny as our excellent guide. We were happy to be able to join at the last minute without booking.
She held our attention completely throughout the walk making it enjoyable and interesting.
We would certainly book for one of her other tours in the future.

I was born and raised in Bournemouth but don't live here any more but return in the summer each year to visit family and friends. I always said to myself for many years I must sign up for some walking tours around Bournemouth to learn more about my home town. I finally got round to it and Bournemouth Walking Tours popped up first when I googled. I really liked the sound of the variety of tours and the timings. So I signed me and mum up for 2 of them - the celebrity tour and the history tour of Bournemouth. I loved them both and learnt such a lot. Loads of fascinating info was packed into 2 hour walks. I liked the interaction too where we were asked questions if we knew such and such and so and so etc. Really lovely people on both tours - a mixture of visitors to the town and locals and Penny has really great delivery and is really engaging. I only come back once a year so before I get busy next year I will sign up for the more walks, particularly the Boscombe art and Poole walking tours. Thanks so much Penny for some fun and engaging walks and I am now much better acquainted with my home town.

I did 2 tours with Penny, the graffiti tour and the history one. Both were really interesting and we really enjoyed the walk ! We've moved to Bournemouth less than a year ago and we never took the time until now to discover more about this town. We already booked a third tour in 2 weeks and want to do them all. Every tour is very different and you will always learn more ! I will definitely do it a gain if I have friends or family visiting Dorset. Penny makes the tour very pleasant and not boring at all 🙂 I did some walking tours in the past and 2 hours might be long sometimes but here you don't even realize that the tour is already over so go for it !

I’d recently moved to Bournemouth and was interested in finding out more about this beautiful area, so Penny’s historical tour sounded ideal. The tour was easy to book, was confirmed very quickly, and I enjoyed it immensely. Penny is very personable and knowledgeable, and the two hour tour flew by ,,, I’m very much looking forward to meeting Penny again for her Chine Tour. I would highly recommend Penny’s tours and they are great value for money !!

We went on the 'dark past' tour of Bournemouth with Penny and it was absolutely fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, engaging and had clearly carried out A LOT of research in her spare time. We are 100% going to go on the other tours Penny has to offer. Fantastic!

Such a joy it was walking round Westbourne. Penny knows so much about the old days & the buildings. Plus had lots of photos to show us how things used to look. Brilliant!!
