Liked: This is a great site. Quiet and peaceful. Took my cat with me and he loved being by the trees and walking around the lake. The staff are helpful and friendly. There are a few water sports, including boats, sup boards, kayak and pedalos. Will definitely be back as it's a short walk into the historic town of market bosworth and canal marinas with lovely walks

Disliked: Swimming area is very small and wild swimming has become so popular now can't help but think they are missing a trick.

Liked: Lovely places, lots to do on the lake and good selection of things to hire. We hired paddle boards and the guy was very helpful. Brilliant for family's with children, lake is shallow so can swim in it and there is also a beach. Nice large pitches very friendly staff.

Disliked: Toilets in the main building were a bit tired and damaged

Liked: Beautiful lake great for paddle boarding waking up to a lovely view campsite was lovely.

Disliked: Showers was not very clean and out dated but it was still a nice shower water was just at the right temperature. But over all definitely go back.

Liked: Clean and tidy site. Spacious area for the caravan and car.
Loved the area with the sand by the water. Kids enjoyed the park.

Disliked: X2 toilets in the toilet block did not work. No prices on the food inside the shop.
Could perhaps have a few more things on the site for the children.

Liked: Beautiful surroundings, especially the lake and the local country park. Quiet hours 7-11, perfect, and after 11 it’s extremely peaceful. Facilitates were very clean, hot showers.

Disliked: Felt pitches were abit close, but you did have plenty of room on your pitch. Depending if you had a big awning/caravan/mktorhome. WiFi was for the lodges not the actual site. But could use hotspot as had good 4G.

Liked: We recently spent a weekend away at Bosworth Lakeside on a fully serviced waterfront pitch, and overall, it was a fantastic family getaway. The location is absolutely beautiful – the view over the lake was amazing, and it was lovely to wake up right by the water.

Our 12-year-old had the time of his life paddleboarding on the lake – he spent hours out there and didn’t want to come off. The site had a relaxed atmosphere and, despite being busy, it wasn’t too noisy, which made it perfect for unwinding.

Disliked: The main downside was the shower facilities. They are quite dated, and during our stay, only one shower in the men's block was actually usable. The women's showers weren't in the cleanest condition either, with sand often left behind by children. It's something the site could really improve on

Liked: Everything at this place is perfect for a few days away if you love the beach and water, our boys are there from 7am and then back and forth constantly until bed. They love the ducks, tennis court, play area and being able to build sandcastles and paddle board all day long. We stayed this time with another family with 2 small children and requested to be next to each other which was no problem at all. Will be back at every weekend possible.

Pitched up our caravan here for 1 night. And I’m glad we only had one night. The toilet and shower block was disgusting. I complained about the cleanliness and was told the cleaner was coming any minute. I went back an hour later and the toilets had all been unblocked however the still didn’t clean the facilities as the toothpaste marks up the mirrors was still there, rubbish on the floor was still there, sinks were filthy! The floors were filthy. Just a filthy area. Need to sack the cleaner tbh if that was their cleaning! Also, the site looked scruffy due to the permanent residence. Highly disappointing given the beautiful location/ setting! Wouldn’t ever return unless they knock it down and start again.
