I'm sure they have many good drivers but my last experience with a Borderline driver is what made me start using other companies.

Booked a taxi 2 hours in advance > Driver is 15 minutes late, doesn't say anything > Arrive at destination, driver decides to short me 20p on my change > I call it out and ask for the extra 20p > Driver throws a fit and gets soppy.

A) It isn't up to you to decide to shave off the change I get back (funnily enough, I often give a pound or two tip, but that's typically when the driver isn't 15 minutes late)
B) Don't be 15 minutes late
C) Don't throw a hissy fit when you're called out on bad practices

Just got late night taxi from Cramlington NSECH to Alnwick, kindly arranged by my Mother with Borderline. This arrived at the time quoted, no fuss and soon got me home. The driver was called Chris. He was a lovely bloke and I was very much appreciative of his helping me out. I would fully endorse Borderline Taxi.

Turned up on time but fare was £6 and never offered any change. I didn't argue cause I had had a drink but will never use them again.

Not a great user of taxis but when I do it's this one. Always pre booked, always arrive on time or slightly early. Drivers are friendly at all times.

had us waiting 20 minutes at the wrong location, couldn’t name the number plate? which i find bizarre of the vehicle you’re driving? and can only pay in cash. I understand some companies only take cash but the service was also horrible. should’ve waited half an hour for an uber

Would leave no stars if I could, avoid!!! Had a taxi booked well in advance, called the firm three times in advance to confirm this booking as it would be taking my grandad for his first day out since April. This was to celebrate a special family occasion. Turned up and couldn’t get him in the taxi!! Not only this but the taxi driver mentioned this is a common occurrence that the office staff don’t bother to even check if they can fit the wheelchair in the vehicle. Couldn’t attend our special day because of this company of which we travelled 300 miles for, disgusting and incompetent!!!

Cheery driver, Who was chatty & chipper for that time of day.
