I recently took a two-day private tour of the Scottish Highlands with Bonnie Scotland Tours, and it was an unforgettable experience. Noel's passion for Scotland's history, culture, and landscapes was truly infectious.
The itinerary was perfectly tailored to my interests. We explored breathtaking landscapes, including Stirling Castle, Rannoch Moor, Loch Ness, and the Cairngorms, with plenty of stops for photos and stories. Each stop was carefully chosen to showcase the Highlands' natural beauty and historical significance. Noel shared fascinating tales about the History of Scotland and the Scottish people. Noel's knowledge and storytelling made the history of the Highlands come alive.

What stood out most was the personalized attention I received. Noel was attentive to my preferences, whether adding an impromptu stop at a scenic spot or adjusting the pace to suit our needs. I love Harry Potter and, with Noel, was able to visit Hagrid's Hut, Hogwarts Express Viaduct, the Black Lake, and a few more.

The vehicle was comfortable, and Noel ensured I felt safe and relaxed throughout the journey. Even providing plenty of snacks, sodas, and water, which was a thoughtful touch!

I decided to take the 2 day highland tour and i wouldnt change it for anything. Noel was our driver and super professional and knowledgable. The 2 day allows you so much more time to do things at your own pace and Noel even added in a couple places/areas to show us that werent on the itinerary. Like where part of Harry Potter was filmed. Snacks and drinks were complimentary in the van and it was a very comfortable ride. Would definitely go again. Beautiful views and a double dose of the cute highland cows.

Being an Outlander fan for over 20 years and planning my 1st (hopefully not the last) trip to Scotland was overwhelming. My husband booked a tour with Bonnie Scotland Tours and they did NOT disappoint! Donald was our guide for 2 days of exquisite scenery, historical wonders, Outlander filming sites and small adventures. Donald was knowledgeable, friendly and flexible with our time. We hit all the major sites I wanted to see and they were flexible enough to allow us to see things that were not on our itinerary. (Visiting the Kelpies is a must!) We also leaned into our guide to help us find a romantic place to do a hand fasting ceremony. Not only did he find us one of the most romantic places in Scotland but went above and beyond to help us in our ceremony! Helping to tie our knots and teaching the symbolism behind each knot as it was tied. For all my foodies out there, Donald had the low down on some great spots to eat and get local cuisine. The Cullen Skink from Cafe Circa at Doune was delish and the traditional FRESH, right off the boat, fish and chips from Anstruther Fish Bar was top tier! He even made sure we tried some Iron Bru! (Must try while there) We had so much fun, we learned so much and shared a fantastic time. Slàinte Mhath!!

Noel guided us (3 couples) through an amazing day with a little bit of everything: castles, cows, shopping, beautiful vistas, great snacks, and LOTS of passionate Scottish history, and great conversation about life in Scotland. He customized the route and the pace to our preferences, was enthusiatic and professional, and even offered some suggestions on what might have happened in my family's Scottish history. I highly recommend this tour!

I had originally booked this tour for my partner and I, but ended up making the trip solo due to visa issues. I wasn’t ready to tackle driving on the opposite side of the road yet, but I also wanted something with more freedom than a traditional tour bus option has and was absolutely impressed with this tour! Having the flexibility to stop anywhere that looked interesting, even if it wasn’t part of the itinerary, was amazing and we were even able to squeeze in a quick visit to Inverness since it was just me. This tour was absolutely stunning and I’m so glad I booked it. Thank you so much for taking me around your beautiful country and showing me things I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to see with a larger bus tour. Overall just an incredible opportunity and I was blown away by the Scottish countryside.

Noel was incredible...from the moment we set out on our adventure, his knowledge and passion for Scotlands stunning region was apparent.

An incredible two-day tour. It was, by far, the very best highlight of our trip to Scotland. We learned so much about the rich and colorful history and stories of Scotland from Noel while experiencing the beautiful sights first hand. My 4 grown sons were blown away with the whole experience, from meeting a Scottish farmer while visiting Kilchurn castle the first day, to skipping stones on Loch Ness, to having a snowball fight, a true rarity for Florida boys. We really enjoyed seeing the castles, lochs, Highland cows, and Highland mountains, to name just a few sights from this incredible journey.
