Amazing tour! The tour owner Edward is the guide. He is passionate about local history and loves to share his knowledge. We peppered him with questions throughout the tour and he was happy to answer even when not related to the tour. Tours are Fri & Sat at 7:00. Tickets are inexpensive and can be purchased at the visitors center in the middle of town.

Loved this walking tour, it gave us a much better view of the village than the crowded riverside during the day- we learnt so much about the village and its history. Would recommend this, Edward is a fab host.

As a local I always wanted to take this tour, I know Edward from chatting in the village over the years.
The tour was very informative with historic facts and makes you look at certain buildings and walkways in a new light.
A must if in the village and adds a unique touch to anyone's visit.

I have been on this tour several times now and always find it enjoyable with lots of interesting stories. Edward is very knowledgable about this village and the Cotswold area as a whole. Would recommend this tour to anyone who loves tales of ghostly happenings and stories about the darker side of the village.

What a great way to spend an evening. The tour guide, in appropriately eerie dress, led us about town for a little more than two hours. His stories and delivery were captivating, as was his insights into local history. We heard of ghosts, murders, witches, and more. Take the tour and enjoy.

Was able to contact Edward (the bloody bourton tour operator) direct and ge was very helpful prior to us coming to Bourton on Water.

After finishing the tour I can definitely say out of all the cotswolds tours this is the BEST one by a mile!
Its a 2 hours tour and Edward is full of wonderful historical and local facts that he presents in a professional yet humorous way.

You get to learn lots about the dark history of Bourton including its Ghosts, while at the same time getting to view some of the lesser known buildings and area
