Just returned from a trip to Kuala Lumpur, Borneo, and Singapore, all organised by Blank canvas. It was our first trip on an adventure like this, so we were excited but nervous at the same time. The whole trip ran like clock work thanks to Blank canvas. We were met promptly at each airport and took to our varias hotels that were all recommended to us by Jack from Blank canvas and they were all exceptional. All our excursions were planned for us so all we had to do was turn up at reception snd our guide would be waiting for us. We had an exceptional guide for our river safari in Borneo it was an amazing boat trip. We are now planning another trip for next year and will definitely be using Blank Canvas.

We have never heard of Blank Canvas Travel before, Jack was very responsive and put a very bespoke package together. He was very knowledgeable and was able to put our trip together quickly. He upgraded our hotels, great customer service.

Edit: I am now on booking number 5 with Blank Canvas, Jack has always been amazing and put together the best itineraries.

We used black canvas to book our honeymoon as myself and my husband wanted to do a mini tour of Thailand which we werent very confident booking ourselves and honestly I don't know where to start! The whole trip was amazing, one of the best experiences we've both had and one we will never forget! Everything was so smooth and the excursions Jack booked for us where amazing! Every accommodation we stayed at was lovely and all provided bottled water every day with fresh towels shaped in to animals which was a lovely touch. The location of each was fit for our honeymoon with lots to do and see. Jack catered our honeymoon to us, ensuring all our requests were met and we were not disappointed!

I used Blank Canvas to help me plan and organise my solo trip to Cambodia and I cannot rave enough about how good Jack was. He gave me great ideas for itineraries, was clear about my budget and gave me options for flights and options so that I could make the right tradeoff for me, and was quick and responsive throughout the planning process. We cannot compliment Blank Canvas and Jack enough. When we found him we had been chatting to some of the bigger, luxury travel agencies and we were left so disappointed. They could not meet our budget and clearly couldn’t understand what we were wanting.

When I found Blank Canvas I loved their suggested trips and the fact they had a focus on ethical tourism.
I messaged them that day and within 24 hours we had booked our honeymoon to Thailand with Jack.
Jack spent all day chatting with me about what we wanted for our honeymoon, trying to understand us as a couple and how to make it perfect for us.

We had some ideas and Jack then offered so many suggestions, he clearly knew the areas and was keen to give us the best experiences, not just make the most money from us. He offered us cost saving options and suggested experiences he personally knew were incredible.
Within that 24 hours Jack had delivered us the perfect itinerary, under our budget and we couldn’t believe our luck.

Jack planned us a honeymoon that included two stops, one in Khao Sok to explore the jungle whilst staying in a stunning jungle resort in the trees! And then to Khao Lak for a luxury stay at a beach front resort. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation that we were desperately looking for and it delivered above and beyond what we expected!!

I had some ideas for additional experiences we might want to do and Jack encouraged me to wait until we were there and see what we fancied to make sure we got exactly what we were looking for, he was on hand every day of our honeymoon to help us if we needed and I loved that he didn’t just take every opportunity to get more money, it was clear he genuinely just wanted us to have the best time.

The accommodation and experiences Jack booked us were truly stunning and once in a lifetime. Every single day we did something incredible and it was by far the best holiday that either of us have been on, we made memories that will last a lifetime. And we loved knowing that everything we were doing was ethical and helping the local communities.

The holiday was also incredibly easy and stress free as Jack had organised all our transport and guides, all we had to do was be on time!

And the areas we visited were so vibrant we could always find things to do in our down time.

Jack also helped us set up a honeymoon fund directly with Blank Canvas so our family and guests could contribute to our trip if they wanted, which was so helpful as all the firms we found that offered this service took a commission off the top.

We approached Blank Canvas to help us organise a family trip to South Africa, Botswana and Zambia. It was going to be a family holiday of a lifetime so we wanted it to be perfect and it was just that. Jack listened to what we wanted and put together an itinerary for us to review and tweak. It was a complex 3 destination trip with lots of flights, transfers, accommodation and activities and it all worked perfectly, taking all the stress out of organising it ourselves. Jack at Black Canvas along with the agency on the ground created the most incredible holiday for us in Madagascar. I couldn't fault any of the trip. It was tailored made to our needs and everything was met to such a high standard. Each place and excursion was so unique in its own way. I highly recommend visiting Madagascar, it is a truly spectacular place.

Me and my partner have been looking to go to Sri Lanka for a while. As we already booked a holiday for Namibia with Blank Canvas (hopefully for next year due to Covid we had to post pone it 3 times!), after the outstanding service we received during the booking and the subsequent re booking, we decided to book again with them as soon as travelling became an option.
The booking process was very smooth, Jack asked me a few questions about what I wanted out of the holidays and he tailored an itinerary based on my answers. The itinerary was perfect! All the places we visited were beautiful, interesting and every day we had lots of things to do.
His partners on the ground in Sri Lanka are fantastic people and very professional. The hotels he chose were the best we stayed in, and we traveled a lot in the past 20 years…… so we stayed in few!
The one thing I really appreciate about the company, and Jack in particular as he is the one that I have been dealing with from start to finish, is their attitude towards their customers.
We had a few problems with our departure and inbound flights (airline fault unfortunately), so I called Jack from the airport on both occasions. It was on a Saturday on the way back so outside business hours, but he still did everything possible to sort out the problem and make sure that we were on the plane back safe and on time. I can honestly say that he did a fantastic job, we were so lucky to have booked with this guys as in my experience, other travel agents wouldn’t have been so efficient and hands on in solving the issues, and this was a major plus for us as with the Covid situation everything is uncertain so you need to feel safe knowing that if there is a problem, you will be looked after.
So if you are thinking about your next holidays, please do get in touch with Blank Canvas, trust me you are not going to regret it!!!! I would give them 10 stars if i could.
