We recently spent a great week at Birchington Vale and really enjoyed what was on offer! The park has all the amenities you could need and is brilliantly located - with a number of beaches and family activities nearby.

The swimming pool on-site was a huge hit with the children and it was that there was a smaller splash pool for the younger ones, as well as a main pool area and a slide. What was really great was that numbers were limited so it never felt busy. The staff (Jack, Dylan, and Carmen) were also incredibly attentive and helpful - even providing us with an inflatable suitable for our 7 month old so she could enjoy her first ever swim!

We only engaged with the children's evening entertainment - and what an experience that was! Liam was brilliant at what he does, had us as adults in tears laughing at some of his antics, and the children really enjoyed all the games and dancing on offer.

In fact, all of the staff - be it in the bar, the shop, on the front desk, or around the grounds - were friendly, happy, and really made us feel welcome.

The caravan itself was clean, well equipped, and well located.

Great little place came here with other family members and rented two pods for a few days highly recommend to friends and family. Evening entertainment was good. Dog friendly with ample walking area for them around the golf course. Kids really enjoyed the pool. They have evening security to make sure everything stays safe for everybody and he was super friendly too (Paul). Thanks for a great time will see you again in the very near future.

Brilliant family holiday – already planning our return!

We recently stayed at Birchington Vale and had such a great time that we’ve already decided to come back. The park is peaceful, really well kept, and has everything you need for a relaxed seaside break.

Our caravan was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious – it felt more like a mini apartment than a static home. Beds were comfy, the heating worked well, and it was quiet at night, which made for great sleep.

The facilities are ideal for families. The indoor pool was warm and fun (the flume was a hit with the kids), and there’s a decent playground, arcade, and even crazy golf. The clubhouse entertainment was family-friendly and fun, and the food at the on-site restaurant was good value – nothing fancy, but tasty and filling.

We brought our dog along and were really pleased to find the site is very pet-friendly, with grassy areas and even a dog-friendly space in the clubhouse.

Location-wise, it’s spot-on for exploring the Kent coast – Margate and Botany Bay are a short drive away, and Birchington-on-Sea is lovely in its own right. I’d definitely recommend having a car though, as public transport isn’t the most convenient.

Overall, this was a brilliant, stress-free break. Clean, friendly, and full of things to do – ideal for families or couples wanting a UK getaway. Can’t wait to go back!

Great experience and friendly park staff, quiet and lovely surroundings. 20 minutes from everything interesting, from the coast to zoo's, cave' and museums.
You wou won't be disappointed, restaurant on site too. Clean toilets, showers and clothes washing facilities.

We just came back from a weekend getaway. we booked the Glamping pods to try out with our kids. (5 year and 15 months old). the pods looks cute and decent size. the park facilities for swimming pool were great, the staff were nice and great. They had electric socket, they could provide basic things like kettle, toaster, microwave or at least cutleries. It was very inconvenient that you had to carry everything along with you. specially when you have little babies who needs milk. It would be great if they could have a common kitchen area to warm up food etc.

The park is nice, not too big and not too small. The receptions staff were lovely, swimming pool has a fun slide and a smaller warmer pool along with the main pool which is not big or deep so much safer for your little ones imo. The restaurant unfortunately let us down and this has left me feeling negative about our stay. It was my son's 13th birthday on the Saturday, we went to the clubhouse with the intention of having a lovely evening with dinner and entertainment. I enquired what time the kitchen closed for orders and was told 9pm, when we went to order at 8:10pm we were told the kitchen manager has closed the kitchen at 8pm. Pathetic business practice! Saturday night at the start of the summer holidays and they can't be bothered.

We booked a caravan through Airbnb that was located on the Birchington Vale park. Unfortunately, we weren't given any check-in details and had to go to reception to see if they could help. Although they didn’t have information on third-party bookings, Jackie at reception was really friendly and apologetic.

My partner then spotted a couple of groundsmen, who helped us locate the caravan using the photos we had. They were so helpful and lovely. Sadly, once we got inside, we discovered we’d been scammed as another family turned up with a legitimate booking through the actual owner. They had all the correct details, so it was clear our host wasn’t genuine.

I ran back to reception just before they closed at 5pm, and Jackie was amazing. She let us know there had been a last-minute cancellation on a pod, and Kaz made sure it was clean and ready for us. Thanks to them, we had somewhere to stay that night!

The pod was comfy, the toilet and shower blocks were clean and well-stocked, and despite the chaos, the whole team went above and beyond to help us—even though it wasn’t their responsibility. We probably met more staff in one night than most do during a full week, and every single person was kind, helpful, and friendly.

Huge thanks to everyone at Birchington Vale. You turned a stressful situation into a surprisingly lovely stay. And shame on you, dodgy Airbnb host! 🤣

Great place to stay, staff were really helpful. We stayed in the pods they were fab, exactly what we needed for our visit. Definitely stay there again but maybe in the caravans. Not far from Margate at all.
