I love going here with my daughter. We quite often do the Gruffalo Trail, which has a couple of nice play areas along the way, followed by the large park and an ice cream afterwards. There is ample parking available, but I do feel it is a little expensive. However, that appears to be the way of the world these days, and it certainly doesn't put me off going.

Amazing place for hiking, mountain biking or just sitting and enjoying the surroundings.

Unfortunately, the new parking charges are extortionate. I can understand maintaining the forest requires money but £9.50 for 3 hours is going to stop people visiting. I've seen people park on the road outside. A reasonable parking charge will encourage people to visit more often and park inside the car park.

A beautiful place. Lots of lovely places to walk and explore. Great for children and dogs. Some of the best MTB trails in the country. The only negative for me is the carpark. £9.50 for just over two hours stay is pure greed.

Lovely park, great for kids. Parking prices are an absolute disgrace - will definitely put people off and has effectively priced out a large part of the local community.

possibly one of the most beautiful places ever to exist, from my experience it’s super clean no litter to be found! Respected by everyone who goes. Perfect to unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature. Definitely makes the payment to park worth it.

Great Place for a family visit, can ride your bike around the dog or monkey, even a easy route around for the whole family any skill level. Also a bike shop for spares and hire I think. Nice little cafe for after your ride. Also go ape is here which is a fun couple of hours if you like heights.

Excellent wildlife area in the heart of Cannock Chase. Nice signposted walks of multiple distances, including a shorter route that is wheelchair suitable. Excellent family and 'proper' mountain bike trails for all abilities. Children's adventure play area, junior and adult Go Ape tree climbing and a decent café. On site bike shop. Only quibble is parking is a bit expensive, but a Discovery pass for frequent visitors £40) gives free parking for a year. Very good at Christmas with tree sales and Santa and food huts. Recommended.
