Bromfield House is a wonderful place for a relaxed family party with a luxurious feel The grounds are wonderful all the rooms are spacious - we loved the self playing grand piano We were a party aged from 72 to 2 and it was suitable for all The kitchen had everything we needed The house managers were very helpful and kind and clearly wanted us to have a lovely time
It is also very near to sea and to many famous Welsh destinations

A Truly Fabulous Experience at Dunningwell Hall

We had the most wonderful time with our large family during a murder mystery weekend at Dunningwell Hall. The house itself is stunning—full of character, beauty, and eclectic charm that set the perfect backdrop for our event.

From start to finish, the support we received was outstanding. The team was always on hand to help, and Heather in particular went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—like a true family friend. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she helped create a warm, relaxed atmosphere that made the whole stay feel like home.

We can’t thank Heather and the entire team enough for their kindness and attentiveness. If you’re planning a special family gathering, I highly recommend booking through Big House Experience—their service and properties are exceptional.

Great Family Celebration at Tall Trees

We stayed at Tall Trees, booked through Big House Experience, to celebrate an 80th birthday with 24 of us—from the oldest to the youngest. The house was perfect: spacious, comfortable, and ideal for a big family gathering.

It was a truly memorable stay and one we’ll all treasure. Tall Trees gave us the perfect place to celebrate not just a milestone birthday, but our family as a whole.

The booking process was excellent from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with at Big House Experience responded quickly to any questions, kept us informed at every stage, and made everything clear—from payments to what we needed to do and when. They really took the stress out of organising such a big event.

A superb 3 nights spent at this amazing house. 7 adults ranging from 20 to 55 and 2 children under 2 years old and the house catered for us all. The location is remote up a long lane, perfect for us, but only 10 minutes away from either pubs/restaurants and an amazing beach. There is no shortage of facilities at the house and we wanted for nothing. The garden, games room and cinema room were a really nice addition. We met the owner Phil whilst there, lovely guy, couldn't do enough to help. Would highly recommend.

We stayed in Olive House for a week this Summer… a very wonderful week! By far the best house we’ve ever rented. Extremely luxurious with so many lovely touches. The host Juliet really goes out of her way to make sure you are having the best time. Would 100% recommend, and we will be returning!
