I booked online for a taxi to take me home from an engagement party quite a few days in advance.
For some reason I could not get access to the website to check my booking. So I called, on my way to said engagement party.. just to double check the booking. The woman who answered the phone was absolutely rude, no customer service etiquette, very patronising and left me feeling very unsettled and anxious. I’m appalled with how she treated me. Her tone of voice was very condescending. I had got out cash especially for this ride as it said online to pay cash. She then proceeded to get even more rude about the fact I asked about that and said I needed to pay via their link because of ‘x y z’ I said that was absolutely fine I was just asking… I paid the fee straight away, that wasn’t the issue it was the way she proceeded to tell me and make me feel as though I was wrong for calling them.

On the other hand the taxi driver was lovely.

Such a shame this was my experience and I will never use this taxi service again as I do not appreciate being spoke to like that.

Booked a taxi 2 months in advance for our wedding day to take us back to our hotel, when it did not arrive, we waited 5 minutes before just calling the office to see how long the wait is, was told it will be 5- 10 minutes. 10 minutes passed, called back, was told the exact same, another 10 minutes passed, and when we called again, we aired our frustration given it was now half past midnight on our wedding night.. (taxi was booked for 11.45), the woman on the phone just blatantly hung up on us. Absolutely appalling. Taxi eventually arrived , and the driver was nice enough and apologised stating the woman in the office is always like that. Will never use them again.

Do not use this company.

We booked a taxi to a wedding and back and was quoted 20 pound return on their app. They then phoned us in the morning to tell us that the taxi price would be 60 pound, 1 hour before the journey. We obviously had no choice but to accept as it was too late to find someone else.

Absolutely disgusting service, 60 pound for a 12 minute journey there and 12 minute back, I don't have to say anything else.

Booked a taxi for 11:45 the next day for a 5 minute drive to get to an event before 12. Taxi arrived at 12:02. Operator stated it was our fault for not allowing enough time.

Ordered taxi arrived 20 minutes late not an issue however tried charging £30 saying had to travel from different destination to pick up! 7mile journey £30!! Paid £20 states we are now banned thank god ! Joke of service positive note taxi driver lovely x

Brilliant service from a company that cares
Recently my mum was receiving end of life care at home and I needed to book taxis to collect me, prescriptions and equipment at very short notice. On each occasion the dispatchers and drivers from Westholme were fantastic. Taxis were almost always on time and on the one occasion when a car was going to be late, I was contacted by phone call, voicemail and text to keep me informed. All the staff have shown real care and kindness, and I cannot praise them highly enough.
