Arrived at 4pm check-in time to find that the place had not been cleaned from the previous week. Dirty towels and sanitary products in the bathroom.

We were instructed by management company to go to a local pub for 4 hours! (we were tired already after a long journey down) We were told we would be refunded for the cost of the meal and drinks while a cleaner came in......we are still waiting for that refund.......!

Cooker hood had not been cleaned in a long LONG time. Fat dripped down onto our cooking!. Gross.!

General lack of a cleaners touch in any room. I left messages in the grime 😁

Top floor bedroom, if you like a bed so hard you can't sleep, you are on to a winner.
Moved after first night to bedroom downstairs. Springs evident through cheap mattress in that room.

Being in the area was lovely for walking.

House management on changeover, and lack of care to make it right from company for breach of contract I find..... Very disappointing.
I work hard to earn money to be able to afford a holiday sometimes. I don't expect this.

I highly recommend a family break in this spacious Victorian farmhouse just minutes from Crantock and Polly Joke beaches. We have been lucky enough to stay in Berwyn several times and I really can’t recommend it highly enough. There is a village shop just five minutes walk away where you can stroll to get your morning paper and pick up some freshly baked croissant and pastries for breakfast. We are always sad to leave Berwyn as it really feels like a home from home.
