We stopped in Seascape, it is a lovely cottage with a necessary facilites, the balcony with teh view over the town and the bay is particularly special. It is handily located to be able to walk into Beer were there are plant of places to eat. Would certainly recomend the cottage.

An absolutely fantastic location, topped off with wonderful owners who did everything to make sure the stay was perfect.

Beer is such a great place in general and with so much in the surrounding area to do; it was a lovely break for our family.

Perfect place to explore East Devon, high up with beautiful views of both countryside and sea. lots of local restaurants, café, bars and shops. dog friendly and lots of wildlife on your doorstep. So if you want to spend all day on the balcony watching the world go by or be more active with walks or a swim in the sea then seascape Berry House is your perfect location. Your host Lorraine & Bob have lots of knowledge about the area and are extremely helpful. The accommodation is very clean & we liked the upside down layout to allow you to make full use of the views.

After a journey of 12 hours, we were welcomed by an absolutely stunning view, a spotless apartment, cosy beds and a wonderful surprise in the fridge. Lorraine and Bob are the loveliest hosts you can imagine - full of information about the area, background stories and helpful tips.
Although we had a few rainy days, the apartment was so comfortable that we still enjoyed everything.
Our children insist on writing about one point they were not satisfied with: They would have loved to take Millie, the dog, back home.
But seriously, it was the perfect holiday and thank you for everything. We´ll be back next year!

What a great place to stay. It has everything you could want. Seascape is a well equipped, comfortable and clean accommodation with a added bonus of fantastic views over Beer and the surrounding area from the balcony. To complete the package the hosts Lorraine and Bob, along with Millie the dog are very welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable about the sounding area. Highly recommended

We had a great time at Seascape. It is a very clean, comfortable and quiet property with fabulous views and the benefit of a balcony. We had very good weather but even without that it is a great place to sit and watch the changing scenery. Lots of things to do in the area including Pecorama, (ride-on trains, gardens and of special interest to anyone who is into model railways), the trams at Seaton and the Beer Quarry Caves and good places to eat out. Sidmouth is well worth a visit. If you are keen on walking there are some satisfying walks – albeit hilly. Dealing with this generally becomes easier as the week goes by. Then, there are the horses, sheep and rabbits to keep you amused.
Bob and Lorraine are great hosts, very informative and good fun to chat to. We were sorry to leave. We will be coming back!

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday, staying in Beer View. Have to say one of the nicest, cleanest and most friendly holiday accommodations we have ever stayed at. Lorraine and Bob are the perfect hosts - full of helpful ideas and suggestions about the local area. In these strange Covid times it was lovely to be able to relax and feel entirely safe at the cottage. Also the view of Beer from the main window is truly spectacular.Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Seascape is in the most incredible location, perched above Beer and from the wrap around balcony on the first floor there are simply incredible views of the village. To the rear there are fields with an array of wildlife - rabbits, pheasants, a charm of goldfinches, kestrel, butterflies, bees, wildflowers and ponies. It is so peaceful and beautiful you may not want to leave the balcony. If you do manage to drag yourself away you'll need to save some energy to walk to and from the village but the walk is worth it. Beer has everything you need, beach, boats, restaurants, gallery, gift shops, pubs and a village shop. The owners are the cherry on the top - they are so knowledgeable and helpful. If you need anything you only have to ask. We felt like old friends by the time we left.
