Super cliff top walk with a friend and our dogs. Views were amazing.
Parked in a pay/display at Yaverland Beach to start the walk.
Dogs were also allowed on the beach (would need to check if any restrictions from May onwards)
Two hours parking cost £3.60. However, the sun was so bright, I couldn't quite see that I'd only put in £3.50 , so disappointed we could only have a one hour walk, next time will be more careful. 😉.
It really is a fabulous area, plus there were toilets at the carpark and bins.

That's an absolutely lovely place to have a walk and one of my very favourite places on the Isle of Wight. You might spot a few more people but you're mostly alone. The most people are on the beach but even there you can enjoy your freedom. I recommend to have a day walk from Bembridge Down to Shanklin. Take the time you need and enjoy the waves. But remove your shoes and socks first!

Stunning views along the coastal path. However, take care as Google Maps takes you to a private place, a kind of holiday villas near Sandown. From their parking, it’s a gentle walk to the views, but when I came back to my car I saw it was parked on that holiday village. Sorry to the owners if they read this.
