If you want a nice surprise for your little ones, this is it. The train runs o ly on weekends, good weather provided. After the ride, there is a lot more to do. Walking through the garden, spending time at the playground or having a bite and a drink at the Harvester restaurant.

Just fantastic experience with the grandchildren. The volunteers who run this are friendly and knowledgeable. At Just 2 pounds each it's simply fantastic value.

Lovely little railway in a beautiful park. 4 hrs free parking in the little car park by the harvester. The drivers and staff are all super friendly. Our 4 year old loved it.

Love the trains. Loved them when I was a kid and now as a 50 year old man I still loved riding them with my Dad! Brought back great memories and the Engines are gorgeous. Recommended for any age it’s a blast!

Brilliant day out. They have about 30 volunteer enthusiasts maintaining about 100 trains about 5 of which will run for about 300-500 punters a day. Ice cream and lovely park nearby.

2nd or third visit butfirst with youngest grandson. Both he and the eldest, who lives locally, throughly enjoyed their rides.
The engines are well presented and maintained and the track is extensive giving a reasonable length of ride. Well worth the £2 fare.
Only runs Wednesdays during school summer holidays
