Absolutely stunning place to visit and enjoy the scenery and the beautiful variety of trees and pines. Plenty to do with the children if you do the stickman walk their are about 10 different parks for the children to visit

Great family friendly venue with walking, running, cycling and horse-riding trails. Dog-friendly, and peaceful. Once out of the main area it is easy to find spaces where you can be alone and just soaking in the quiet and sounds of birds and the wind soughing through the trees. Loved the corridor of conifers which although very short was worth a walk to find. No entry fee but parking fees obviously cover this.

It's a beautiful, tranquil place. You could spend all day here easily it's huge. The children's play areas are spaced out along a gentle 1.2 mile walk, which is a brilliant idea. Each area is different. My son loved doing the stick man trail walk finding all the posts along the route. The food was delicious, filling and reasonably priced. Staff were all friendly and very helpful in the visitors centre. We went mid week and it was quiet. Would definitely return in the future. The car park did cost £14.50 which isn't bad if you're there all day That's the cost for 3+ hours.

Good place to visit. We brought our own picnic. We did buy coffee with cake. Plenty of parking. Be aware parking is £4 per hour. Food available at the café.

Lovely trails and trees - extremely well done with easy walkable paths and great signs throughout. There were people of all ages, buggies, and pups - it really seemed like a nice day out for everyone. Toilets were clean, and it was free though about £4 per hour for the car park.

Such a lovely family day out.
Amazing place, only one think we could not find all Gruffalo animals..no really good sign for them have to ask few people..otherwise fatastic place,so calm and so much to see.
You do not have to pay to go in just for the car park.Car park is not cheap we stay 4h and have to pay £11.50..I do not camplain(just give you an info of cost) as it is amazing place to visit and we only pay for the car park.

Loved the experience, lights were amazing. Nice selection of refreshments ie mulled wine/spiced apple, beer, spirits etc, waffles, hot dogs.
We'll definitely go next year!
Only one negative - It's a shame they charge for parking when entry tickets are already pricey though.

What a stunning place! Every single tree has a little tag that tells you what species it is, and some of them are dedicated to loved ones that have passed. Really humbling to read some of the messages on them.
Not 1 piece of litter in sight and very accessible for those needing 4 wheels. Wish we could have spent longer exploring!
