Beautiful castle in a lovely little village, parking is right next door and cheap. There's a great chippy right close by in the village and some nice shops close too. There's a small gift shop for the castle and they show an educational film about the castle inside the grounds. Plenty of great photo opportunities and a great visit if you have a couple hours to kill.

The castle was nice, dogs are allowed on the ground floor but not up on the walls or corridors. It's a self guided castle with information points but there is only a handful, with a little more information on the map. It doesn't take ages to look around with most of it being the same as its a symmetrical castle but the chapel is interesting. It's a pretty castle and something nice to do but not somewhere to repeatedly visit in my opinion.

As I live close, I've never been to the castle but during a visit to Beaumaris, myself and son took the opportunity to go inside. Wasn't disappointed at all. People in period costumes, displays, staff around to ask questions. Fantastic 👍

This is a must see for anyone who likes castles! One of the best examples of an abandoned castle that is near complete. It was actually never finished but is nearly intact with most of it still there. There is an entrance fee but it's well worth it. You can walk the outer walls and interior with an amazing chapel, still with stain glass windows!

The castle is of considerable size and with lots of areas and internal passages to explore and with good views to be had across Biwmares and Eryri on the upper levels. Dogs are allowed in on short leads and must stay on the lower levels which send to be standard practice. There are lots of smaller side rooms dotted about and inside the perimeter walls with numerous stair cases that you can amble along which will give a sense of the internal architecture and the accommodation that was available at that time. There is a fair bit of grassed areas between the outer and inner sections of the castle along with occasional seating here and there, so, on a warm sunny day a pleasant picnic could be had.

Well worth a visit. Beaumaris Castle is set in a beautiful location especially when it's a nice sunny day. Though the castle was never completed its still impressive. After your visit to the castle I recommend a walk around picturesque Beaumaris town.

We had limited time during our day trip in Anglesey and were able to visit this castle. It is well kept and the views at the top walls were awesome. We lucked out with beautiful, clear day.

Was a great history lesson about the castle itself, we also brought the guide book a4 size for 5 pound which had lots of reading learning for the little ones.

We spent an hour or so at the castle then moved on to the park for the children which is round the corner.

Was a nice trip and would recommend
