This year I got to join Bea on a tour around Kenya which not only involved an epic safari (we even got to see The Big 5) but we also got opportunities to delve in to the community around us.
It was an absolute privilege to have Bea as our tour guide. Her passion shines through in her kindness and humour all the way to her knowledge about what is around us. (Fun Facts With Bea was a solid highlight…remember to ask her about Rhino’s).
I can not thank Bea enough for the experience I had in Kenya. If you ever get the chance to go on one of her tours…please take it!

Epic trip , Great itinerary but I have to say the people are what made this trip so special 10 days starting as strangers and leaving as friends. And Bea’s fun facts with ability to brighten every day. We had so much laughing and enjoyment on this trip. Something about Africa will alway have a special place in my heart. If you are solo traveling or just want to go but not alone you will find a friendly face in Bea and have the adventure of a life time on any of her tours. I had the privilege of embarking on a 7-day safari, an adventure that was absolutely legendary. I am so grateful for Bea, whose kindness, down-to-earth nature, humor, and exceptional planning skills made this journey an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Malaki, was also wonderful, and together, they created an adventure of a lifetime. It was so much fun! Our accommodations were incredible, ranging from beautiful hotels with pools to luxury tents in the Serengeti, and a night with the Maasai tribe that was one of the coolest experiences of my life. Each stop was a special combination of beauty, comfort, and character. The food we got to try was amazing, and our interactions with two different tribes are experiences I will never forget. Beyond the fun safari, we got to visit local markets and tried other fun activities that made our journey special. Witnessing the Great Migration and encountering the Big Five was the highlight of this adventure. I owe this incredible experience to Bea's expertise and commitment to ensuring our trip was flawless. I recommend anyone in search of a safari experience beyond compare to reach out to Bea. I continue to recommend this awesome experience to friends and family. This was a journey where my friends and I created memories that we will hold onto forever. Thank you, Bea, for making it all possible! You are wonderful!

I impulsively booked a Kenyan Safari trip with Bea Adventurous (co hosted with Indy Escapes), as my first venture into solo (ish) travel. I was incredibly nervous about organising flights, trains, sim cards, airport transfers, and everything else. Bea was absolutely incredible in helping me, from having a phone call before I’d even fully decided, which helped me answer ALLL the questions I had regarding whether I was being stupid thinking I could do this. She ran tech support for me when I couldn’t get my payment to work, despite being in another country! She answered each and every query I had regarding getting visas/vaccinations/ any thing and everything you can think of regarding a holiday. And that’s just all the pre-trip admin!
Having Bea as a tour guide for my first safari, first solo trip, first visit to Africa was what I think made this trip so fantastic. She picked me up from the airport because I was worried about being alone, she checked in with me constantly throughout the trip to make sure I was okay and enjoying it, she even played bank account when I ran out of cash I thoroughly enjoyed the trip, each and every aspect of it, one of the highlights being Bea’s Fun Facts (that were always steeped in truth, and were the result of many hasty googles in the back of a safari truck).
I have no doubt that any trip with Bea, no matter which country, and which activity, will be steeped in adventure, culture, and all round good times. Bea has such a personal touch, that I didn’t feel like I was meeting a group of strangers, and from day 1 everyone was so incredibly welcoming, and I’ve come away from that trip with a new group of friends.
I think the marker of a good experience is being willing to return, and I can’t wait to book my next trip with Bea Adventurous!

Yesterday I decided to take a short day trip to the Cotswolds from London. With limited time to explore, I reached out to Bea and jumped on her intimate Cotswold Tour. Not only did Bea make sure I saw the best of the Cotswolds, she also provided a wonderful local perspective beyond the tourist highlights. I had the most amazing time and by the end it felt more like I’d spent the day adventuring with a friend than anything else.
