Fantastic experience, the tour guides were very friendly, helpful and very informative. Time just flew by. It was great to get a peep behind the scenes. I now watch Wales Today with new eyes! I'd definitely do this tour again 😊

Great tour, but will review without spoilers.
Excellent tour guides, who are very knowledgeable and took us every where they could, given live sound and tv broadcasts were going on whilst we were there. Lots of technology on show and explanations of how it workedBe prepared for airport style security on entry with pockets emptied and bags etc scanned. Good free cloakroom facilities so you don't have to carry costs around either you. Recommended totally

Absolutely great experience and was well worth popping in when in Cardiff. Tickets are booked through the Millenium Centre website. On the tour, you get to see a variety of areas throughout the studio. The tour guides are very knowledgeable, and if your lucky you'll get to see a Welsh celebrity or two!

My partner purchased tickets for the tour of the BBC so prior to arrival I had no knowledge of what the tour would involve or what we were going to be shown. On arrival there are security checks and metal detectors to pass through but this didn't take long. The tour guides were very good and you do meet other staff members as you travel around who give you an idea of the job that they carry out. It was nice to see the news room and being outside the studio where you could see the presenter rehearsing for the 1.30pm bulletin. You also visit the radio studio and a small Dr. Who exhibition. The bit I enjoyed the most was meeting the voice who you hear between TV programmes as his job involved a bit more than just talking down the microphone. The actual tour lasts for 90 minutes, is interesting, enlightening and was a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

On your tick list of things to do during your lifetime, the tour of the BBC Wales News studios is an absolute must. Conveniently situated directly opposite Cardiff Railway Station, you let yourself in for almost two hours of awe. The guides are a fountain of information & you get taken to green screen rooms, audio drama room, radio room, the News studio & the continuity announcer. The function of these are explained in easy to understand language & it is mind blowing the complexity how some of these operate. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

Had our first BBC Cymru Studios Tour today and would like to say a huge thank you to our three tour guides - particularly Richard. Utterly fascinating to see just how much goes into bringing so many fab programs to us - much of which I've taken for granted. Well worth going - you'll be amazed at just how advanced our IT is nowadays.

BBC Cardiff Tour
It was great to see inside an impressive building with its floors of desks, pods and studios. It is a well timed and planned tour and the staff worked hard.
I was a little underwhelmed by it. It was all ok. The voice of BBC1 Wales was informative as we crammed into their room.
