Visited Bateman Brewery for a tour on Wednesday Evening with Tony who was very knowledgeable and was a great tour host. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area who likes beer. You also get to sample a few at the end. I went back to the brewery shop the next day to stock up.

Just had a great couple of nights here. The beer was good ,staff really friendly and knowledgeable.
The campsite is unmanned but easy to find your allocated pitch hook up and non hookup avaliable. Toilet block nice and clean . Showers were nice and hot with plenty of space . Would definitely recommend.

Had a tour of Batemans Brewery recently. If I’m honest I had over done it on butter as a teenager and hadn’t really touched it since. I was pleasantly surprised by XB as it tasted rather nice. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great presence about him. The whole tour was brilliant. Great organisation, very knowledgeable guide and the history of the brewery is fascinating! Thoroughly recommended!

Couldn’t praise our tour guides enough. They even helped me out when we were running late.
Great information about the history of the brewery, got to see all the workings of the modern equipment and the older pieces too.

And who doesn’t like a free tasting session at the end. Definitely worth a train hop if ever you need a break from the Skegness crowds.

Had a lovely tour here on Saturday. The man and lady doing the tour were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable (sorry they did tell us their names but they also gave us beer and I'm a light weight so I can't remember them now). The talk was interesting and engaging and the tour guide man answred all questions we had a was friendly so we even had a bit of camaraderie. My idiot sister set off a recorded history by not being able to stop fiddling with things even though she's 46 and he gave her some friendly stick about it but it was all done in good humour and he was lovely about it. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially as they give you a free glass or 2 at the end, all I would say is DON'T touch anything, even if the button says press here

We are members of a Garden allotment association who like good ale and so decided to learn more about the brewing process, being in Lincolnshire Batemans historic brewery was a good choice.

Lee was fantastic from start to finish. He gave us an interesting talk about the Bateman family background and historic struggles to keep Bateman brewing going with struggles to get profitability.

He explained how beers gain body and flavor through the processing of different grain malts and roasts along with hops the starting point being water ( Liquor).

Moving through the various floors explaining the vastly scientific process to brewing and flavoring, with funny antidotes.

He answered many questions along the way and help make the complexities of brewing sound easy.

His patience and knowledge admired by us all. The tasting secession over ran, but Lee endured our indulging with a smile.

We came for the Brewery tour and it was brilliant! Anthony was our tour guide, he mentioned it was is first tour but you would not have been able to tell, he was super confident, passionate about the brewery and the brewing process, informative and super friendly. Next time we need a mullet reveal though!

This campsite is a superb find if you want peace quiet and beer 🍺 Theed loos/ showers are very clean and even warmer ! The brewery tour us excellent.
We loved it and will be back
