Free parking, several quirky shops to browse. Lots of food & drink available. Public toilets. Mostly flat. Two lakes full of water fowl to walk around. I went on a Friday during school holidays and it was fairly quiet till around 2pm.

We had a lovely walk around the lake, the boats look great and there are some nice cafes and places to eat here. We visited the art gallery and shops. Public toilets are clean.

We took a trip to Barton Marina and what a beautiful, relaxed place it is. We ended up spending hours there, browsing the farm shops, enjoying the cafés, The lakeside walks were just stunning. Peaceful, scenic, and full of charm , such a perfect spot for a day out. Highly recommend!

For dining and entertainment, two highlights stand out: the Red Carpet Cinema and the Café Bar. The cinema provides a comfortable, boutique experience for catching the latest films, while the Café Bar serves up everything from fresh coffee and light bites to hearty meals, all with inviting views of the marina.

Whether you're out for a stroll, shopping trip, a bite to eat, or watching a movie, Barton Marina offers a well-rounded day out in a stunning setting.

Really enjoyed Barton Marina, I went up to walk my dogs around the lakes, but there is something up there for everyone, great choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs.
There is a cinema, art gallery and some shops to browse round, a particularly good butchers.
Lovely place to sit take in the scenery and chill.

The cafe was the best place to eat in the marina, sadly closed - Not only was the food good value for money, the staff were also friendly and it was a great location at the waters edge. Good walks around the lakes.

I recently visited Barton Marina, and it was such a great experience! The place has a really unique vibe – a mix of tranquility by the water and a lively atmosphere with so much going on. I went there to catch a movie at the Red Carpet Cinema, which was cozy and had such a welcoming feel. It’s not your average cinema – the seating is super comfortable, and it feels more personal, like a hidden gem for movie lovers.

The marina itself is stunning, with boats gently swaying in the water and a peaceful, scenic walking area. Even if you’re just there for food and the cinema, you can’t help but soak in the beauty of the surroundings. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend for a chilled-out day or evening – great for entertainment, good food, and just enjoying the atmosphere.

The Marina is a really lovely place to moor. There is a laundromat with two washes and two dryers. There are shower blocks on both sides of the Marina with sand points as well. There are also a variety of cafés and boutique shops as well as the pub on the waterfront there is unfortunately no longer a café at the Marina But I’m looking forward to the Boat’s lounge opening. The staff at the Marina are really lovely. They get things done and always have time for a chinwag. The Marina is well kept and maintained.
