James was a wonderful guide that saved us an immense amount of time at the British Museum. For starters, it was so nice to just zip through the long line. The museum/collection is huge and there would be no way we could navigate through it with any coherent plan on our own. It was such a stress-free, enjoyable, and educational time. James picked out some really great things for us to see and explained everything so well. It started with pointing out the significance of the statues on the top of the building. We knew then we would be in for a great time.
Unfortunately, the Egyptian section was closed due to overheating. He pivoted seamlessly and we were able to enjoy some other pieces/sections to see and learn about their fascinating stories. My college-aged children found the entire tour engaging and so well presented. James is a very kind, patient and effective educator.
He made the stories fun and easy to follow. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable day!! 10 out of 10!!!

My wife and I visited the British Museum last year when we were in London. We both agreed our next visit would include a guide due to the sheer vastness of the museum. Steph at Babylon Tours did not disappoint! We absolutely loved this tour! Steph gave us the background and insight into several of the displays we were wanting to see. The tour is just the right amount of time, about two and a half hours. She gave us a great overview of the museum and it made our time exploring on our own that much more productive. Highly recommend!

The British Museum is a must see. So many of these tours are dependent on the quality of the tour guide. Our guide was James. He was unbelievably knowledgeable on virtually everything in the museum. Best guide I have ever had. You would definitely need at least a week to see the entirety of the museum.

Really enjoyed the British Museum tour with Matilda. She asked about our interests at the start and customized the tour to fit our objectives. Her narrative and analogies were very relatable, even with our college age kids. So glad we decided to do the tour as opposed to blindly walking through the exhibits on our own.

Had the best time with Matilda at the national Gallery. She was a wealth of information, including additional tidbits about all the paintings. Highly recommend. Would give 10 stars if I could. Don’t hesitate. You’ll have a great time!

We had a wonderful time touring the British Museum with James Howard. James has wide knowledge of history, knows all the best paths to take thru the museum, and was great in guiding us to the exhibits we were most interested in seeing. The museum and staff were also first rate.

We had a fantastic, informative tour of the Natural History Museum in London. We had signed up for a small group tour and ended up being the only two on the tour with the guide. Our guide, Matilda H. was so knowledgeable! Her style of information delivery throughout the museum kept us engaged the entire time, and our 2 1/2 hours together went by like a blink. She took us to see the high points in the museum and answered all our questions. Highly recommend taking a tour with Matilda H. in London!
