First time here and we loved it. We decided to have lunch first before going on the train, lovely little journey of around 50 minutes. We sat in a compartment which was cool. We are looking at coming to some events.

We went to visit Santa on Sunday afternoon at Avon valley
We had a small train journey and Santa came to see the children in each carriage
We had a homemade mince pie or shortbread star.
The train was old and quirky but had a lovely atmosphere
We then saw Santa and his donkeys.
The children were very excited definitely worth going if you have a free morning or afternoon

We had a fantastic day at the Teddy Bears Picnic for my daughter’s birthday. Avon Valley were really accommodating with adding in an extra child guest and the staff on board were really good.

If you are coming to an event day like this, parking is at a premium but this didn’t spoil anything overall. A lovely day out for all ages.

We had a lovely time visiting the Avon Valley Railway and trip. They have trips on every hour so there is enough places for everyone and if the weather is good it enhances the feel of the trip. They have a train bogie cafe where you can sit n enjoy your food. The kids n we enjoyed it.

A fantastic little heritage line with incredibly enthusiastic and passionate volunteers. There are lots of great vantage points for photos utilising the footpath which runs alongside the railway. At three miles, it’s not the longest line but you can see the ambition they have to expand. Overall I was very impressed and would highly recommend it to others!

A decent quick get away place for the young ones. The train engines steam and diesel run on different days and keep an eye if you have a preference. You can get the ticket at the station, free parking, and a busy restaurant with a children's play park in the neighborhood should keep the little one engaged for at least half a day.
