Splendid boats, in terrific shape. Lovely little cruise with a friendly and capable team. Worth a tenner, but there are also concessions.

Went for a day trip to Stratford with family. We went for a river cruise with Avon boating which lasted 30 mins. Audio handset and map is provided for places of interest along the route. It was nice when the swans were following the boat. The lady and gentleman in photo were very welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend and can't wait for a return visit.

Staff were Great, they talk you through everything. 10yr old Grandaughter was nervous and one guy took her down to the boats and sat her in one explaining everything and reassured her she would be safe. She was able to keep me right whilst I was behind the wheel. Staff also looked after youngest grandsons stroller. Motor boat was fun once you get used to steering... it isn't like a car and it's easy to over steer but soon got the hang of it.

Good place for boating and day out. You find plenty of car parking. The price is fair for longer stay. There is plenty of things to for kids and family as well for elderly or younger day out.

There is public toilet available
You can park using Cash, Card or using a Ring Go app. With the mobile parking application you can pay using any card type and also you can extend time and manage.

There is plenty of space for picnic and seat plans available.

We went last year while in Stratford and it really made my husband's day. The staff who assisted us with the payment and the briefing on the boating instructions was helpful and friendly. We had some difficulty at the end but they helped us through with it safely! Beautiful views along the river if you're not thinking about crocodiles.

Had a lovely short cruise down the river as part of an experience day. The boat was comfortable and the time spent on board was peaceful and serine. All in all a lovely time spent on the river and the staff helpful and polite. Would go again if we were ever in the area.

Very nice, and cool attraction! With beautiful views all around you. Plus you can take a mobile device in boat with pre-recorded audio with touring info about all objects on your way with the boat. Totaly worth to try it out. Plus the prices for adults is very fair and only 7pounds. Highly recommending it! Enjoy.

Disappointing Experience: Unfair Assumptions

As a group of three sober and respectful males, we recently attempted to rent a boat from Avon boating. Despite presenting ourselves as responsible individuals, we were initially denied the rental (by a strawberry blond male employee) due to concerns about our "group dynamic." It was incredibly disheartening to be stereotyped based on our appearance and gender.

To add insult to injury, we later returned and were able to rent the boat from a different employee. This inconsistency in treatment raises serious questions about the company's judgment and customer service standards. It's unfortunate that such discriminatory practices are still prevalent in today's world.

I would strongly recommend that prospective customers be aware of this potential issue and consider alternative options for their boating needs.
