My two children love Avery’s! My four year old particularly loves to play on the rock walls, trampoline and foam pit! I am always noticing he gets braver and more adventurous each time we go. Our 15 month old is always engaged in the toddler area, the area is perfect for him to practice all of his new skills safely. The special events that Avery’s hosts are always exciting for my oldest. Nerf Night is his absolute favorite! Me and my husband love the comfortable seats for us to watch our kiddos play, and the environment is always clean and tidy. This place is a family favorite!

We loved Avery’s Adventures!
It's a perfect set up for kids 0-12.
My toddler (2y old) love every area.
She was so excited it had a foam pit, trampolines, & a rock wall.
She also loved the slides and tubes.
We cannot wait to go again.

This place makes me feel safe with only 1 entrance/exit. This will be the perfect mama meet up spot!

Loved it! Lots of fun things to do but still small enough to easily keep an eye on young kiddos. My kids especially love the trampolines since you don’t find that many other places. Clean, nice layout, two bathrooms. Nothing to complain about. Would especially recommend for ages 5 and under! Added perk is that the benches are really comfortable too 🙂

Love Avery’s adventures! We’ve been multiple times since they opened! Plenty to do for the kiddos! The climbing wall into the foam pit is a fav for my kiddos! As well as the 2 level play structure with the clear tunnel! Keeps them busy for hours l & wears them out!

My daughter had a blast playing at Avery’s Adventures! She was able to play silly and build skills in strength and problem solving all at the same time. Establishment is bright and clean. Can't wait to go back!

We recently celebrated my daughter’s 6th birthday at Avery’s Adventures (first time we’d been there). They have Sundays closed to the public for parties, and each slot is 3 hours which was so perfect for enough play time + set up and clean up time. We used the front room for gifts and food with 12 kids and a handful of grown ups. They had a huge garbage can, a broom, and disinfectant wipes for easy clean up (only thing I felt bad about was the big rug—a tiny vacuum would be helpful!). There are two bathrooms and a mother’s room in the back, as well as more space for party stuff. We squeezed 5 little girls onto a little picnic table they have, and there’s bar seating in the lobby area. Facility was very clean when we arrived.

We had kids ages 2-11, and while a little childish for the 10-11 year olds, they all had a blast! The big kids loved the trampoline, foam pit, and the climbing wall. The kids all played heavily for 2 hours. Great location with plenty of parking.

As with most play places, it could use more benches/seating for parents inside the play area. Getting in the door was tricky with the two apps, but I imagine these are things to work out along the way as a new business. Elk River desperately needed something like this, and the parents of littles are probably rejoicing for a good indoor play option!

Overall thoughts: we will be back, my boys (5&6) really loved it once a lot of the toddlers went home for nap time. It was a LOT smaller than I expected, but they utilized the space pretty well for what they had!

One of my favorite aspects is that the admission price includes ALL DAY. You can leave and then go back. Makes it well worth the price. Getting a discount when bringing siblings is pretty rad too.

There were a few oversights that could have made it a 5 star place for me:

1. Getting inside. What a logistical and technical nightmare. Especially with having kids outside in the elements (cold/rain/etc) while fighting the door system. The locked door should have been the door leading into the play area instead of the outside door. I feel like this would not only be safer, but would ease a lot of worries when having technical difficulties.

2. The climbing wall above the foam pit has slots between the climbing piece and wall, making it a potential issue if a kiddos foot slides in there and then falls, yikes.

3. The floor is pretty slick, even on the carpet. My son wore trampoline park socks and it helped significantly. So glad they have a "grippy socks required" rule!

4. I feel it was a missed opportunity to have seating across the entire wall for adults to use. There's pretty minimal seating for adults.

5. There should have been some kid type accomodations in the bathrooms... A toilet seat with a drop down for smaller kiddos, a step stool for the toilet and for the sink, that sorta stuff.

We visited Avery's Adventures today for the first time, and now we're hooked! We arrived around 6:15pm and played until close. My kids are 1, 4, and 6 years old and they all had so much fun. I can't think of a better way to burn energy before bedtime in the winter when it's dark and cold outside.
