Wow what a beautiful place. We have just arrived home from our holiday in Nut Tree house. It was perfect for our large group. Plenty of space and a bonus that every room was en-suite. Both pools and games room were great and we all loved it including the sauna. Beautiful places to visit locally. Everyone said they had the best time and I will certainly remember my 50th birthday. We will be back.

We stayed at Nut Tree Farm in September for a large family get together and were blown away by the size of the property. There is so much space that even with every bed filled, the house did not feel at all cramped and we all had plenty of space to relax. The indoor pool was lovely but the best part, the outdoor pool. We have never been anywhere with an outdoor pool as warm and clean as the one at Nut Tree, it truly is fantastic. The games barn is a little tired, no darts for the dartboard and the skittle alley quite soft but the kids enjoyed the pool table, table tennis and the little ones enjoyed the playhouse. The wifi is also extremely hit and miss, it does not reach most rooms and is rather slow and there is absolutely no signal (can be a blessing!). The area is beautiful, so quiet and very rarely any traffic coming past which is great. The sess pit in the front garden was rather smelly on hot days so we didn’t spend alot of time in the front garden but the garden is a lovely size for family games. The bbq area was perfect, our family made alot of use of it. Honestly this place is a hidden gem for those large family gatherings and we will most definitely be returning.

16 of us stayed at The Cider Barn for my mum's 80th birthday. It is in a beautiful location overlooking a hidden valley and feels cosily nestled into the hillside not at all overlooked. There were lots of pheasants, House Martins and owls at night, which made it feel very rural. There is plenty of parking and the signs warning about the steep hill made us laugh. The outdoor swimming pool was actually warm and we had a lot of fun in it. The kids also enjoyed the indoor pool down at the cottages. There was something for everyone.
The actual accommodation was superb. Each room was well decorated and practically laid out with ensuites. The kitchen was spacious and very well stocked. Tescos delivered, no problem. The lounge was great with its big comfy chairs and the dining room table was fabulously large to seat us all really comfortably. We really enjoyed sitting round the fire together and enjoying the Barn inside and out.
It was the perfect venue for such an important occasion. Thank you Ashcombe Cottages!

Visited these cottages for a large family gathering over the weekend, the accomodation was excellent and in good decorative order. The Kitchens were clean and fully functional and well equipped, the outside heated swimming pool was a huge plus for the guests and the children amongst the party. The bar-b-que facilities, also got plenty of use and the covered eating area, outside, worked well when the weather didn’t always play ball. Certainly recommended for such gathering of families.

We stayed at the nut tree farm for the weekend and it is truly amazing. The house is fantastic…. It has everything you need and is clean. The heated outdoor pool is a huge bonus. With stunning scenery.

Excellent accomodation, Nut Tree Farm was huge, easily enough room for the 20+ of us who attended, including several small children. Pool, swings and games room in the cottage, indoor pool and an additional playground just a few minutes walk away
