Booked for the tank driving experience, after gearing up we walked to the tank, had a little intro and then began the main event.
Took it in turns to drive a lap out of hatch and a lap under hatch. Once complete move to the passenger position for a nice other point of view.
Site is well organised, museum is quite well stocked with plenty of information.
Friendly staff. Recommended.

Perfect little tank museum. There were not a lot of tanks, but for the price, it was good. The tank selection was awesome, but I would not mind seeing some German tanks, but nevertheless, it was good. You can see some weapons as well, like the ak 47. There were also some clothes from previous wars.

This is a nice little place to get a feel for military machines. There is a strong emphasis on world war 2 with many tanks from that era. It’s not a huge place so you should cover it in 2 hours. There are options for tank rides but I don’t know how much they cost. It’s totally disabled friendly and has a small cafe. When I visited it was not busy and the cafe didn’t seem to be manned. However it’s still worth a visit if your anywhere near South Leicestershire/North Northamptonshire.

Fantastic place. Loved the tank driving experience. Staff were great. The museum is superb. My only issue is there's no food served except flap Jack's. A burger van would be great. Just a suggestion. Overall the day was superb.

What a truely amazing place all for £9, may not be on a massive scale but plenty of history packed into this museum.. lots of tank activity from FV432's on there dirt track.. i was lucky yesterday to watch the Stug III G move under its own power, everyone we had a chat with were very helpful.. can't wait to go back ?

Small but nice collection of military vehicles, spanning WW11 and Cold War periods. There’s also a tank driving experience, on the day I was there i only saw APC’s but what the heck for most one tracked vehicle with a gun is much like another, and very much doubt the designation detracted from the enjoyment of the driving experience for those taking part. I only spectated but looked like those on the driving experience got plenty of time on the course.
All the staff are very friendly and willing to talk about the exhibits, it’s obvious the have an extensive knowledge of the subject and are more than happy to share it with you if you ask a question, there also nice little cafe serving snacks, teas, coffee, and soft drinks.
All in all if you like your military vehicles and visit other museums of this ilk there’s nothing here you wouldn’t have seen before but still well worth a visit, especially if you miss the rattle of a tracked vehicles nailing it across a field.

We took our teenage grandson for a 1 to 1 tank driving experience. It was all superb in every way. The guy who took our booking (he's called G) really understood our needs and tailored the visit to what we were after. On the day we had a brilliant instructor called Mick who was fabulous with our grandson. They had a good drive after getting the overalls on and a safety briefing. The site is amazing and we enjoyed the museum afterwards. I really recommend Armourgeddon

What a fantastic day! Apologies to the staff waiting on us, the 4 hour drive up to you turned in to over 5 with the torrential rain and roadworks.. Luckily we made it bang on our booking time and got straight into it. The briefings were great and the knowledge from the staff was excellent. Zac took my 2 friends and myself out for the paintball battle and it was so much fun. Got along with Zac really well, he made the whole thing feel like a game. Almost forgot we were hurling a 20 tonne tank around a track. Thank you all!
